I called the day before to talk to the Braker Ln location and they were very nice, so this review is not to reflect them. The location near lake creek is the one that is near me, but I saw that they closed at three which I was unaware of. My order was going to be about 40 breakfast tacos for my workers, which is why I wanted to call ahead. The Braker Ln did tell me that if I called the one near lake creek in the morning they should be able to have it ready at 7:30. I called them in the morning and the lady who answered the phone seemed as if she wasn't in a thrilled mood or was just tired. I don't know. However, I asked about the prices of breakfast tacos, and she asked which one did I want. I asked her what kind of breakfast tacos she had and she hung up in my face. Tried calling back but...

First and foremost I am not affiliated in any way with this establishment just one of my favorite Mexican food stops and North Austin several locations this morning I visited the Burnet Road 183 location as always greeted with a smile by Mr Jorge longtime employee as most are manages two stores can't say enough about this man.Ive eaten at Vasquez's since b4 they had a restaurant they started with a food trailer that's been over twenty years ago.Jorge does it all cook and serves it up with a smile and on point all the time and he has great support from all his staff the all make it happen day in day out.GREAT JOB GUYS AND GALS.Today I went with the Nopalito egg and bacon meal served with refried beans and potatoes.👍👍💯👌!!Thanks to all the Vasquez's...

Overpriced, sub-par Mexican food. The cheese enchilada looked like basically a rectangular slab of cheese with a tortilla hiding somewhere between the cheese on the outside and the cheese on the inside. The queso was like velveta cheese watered down and with a splattering of spices. The soft drinks are served in the small plastic bottles rather than a fountain drink, for regular drink pricing, as I'm guessing they will charge you for a second one if you ask for more. Way overpriced for the quality received. Not good, won't be going back and won't be recommending to anyone either. Either owner/family/friends are giving it the 5-stars or people who have never eaten Mexican...

A true local, family run Mexican food joint. Nothing fancy and in an odd strip mall under 183 that is no doubt slated for redo in the near future. My friend and I ordered the huevos rancheros and literally moaned between every bite. Lol. Good, spicy salsa with bagged chips (only let down). Crispy bacon was absolutely perfect and chorizo was excellent. My daughter swears by the bean, cheese and cactus breakfast taco. Spanish being spoken at most of the tables around us and pleasant Mexican music playing.

We were in town to help my son move to a new apartment. Trying to find a place for good breakfast tacos near his new place, and we found them here. My wife gave them an “A”, and she is hard to please. I was impressed with how quickly they were made, piping hot, and thought they were as good as any others we have had this week. We got three to go, bacon-egg-cheese, sausage-egg-cheese, and bacon-egg-cheese-potato. They were all good.
