Dine in at 9:00ish on 27 March and about 5 employees with 1 working counter. 1st impression...a little meh. There was annoying music playing through what I guess was someone's phone or Bluetooth speaker. I assume an employee because at some point there were no customers up front and the music still came from that direction. Had about 3 folks waiting and 2 had asked if there order was ready. The counter half-hazzardly checked a bag and replied no. We ordered, but the counter person couldn't figure out how to substitute corn for fries. Walking to our seats I saw the dining room's paper towel roll with a wet ring along the bottom edge, and I thought it would get changed out. It didn't. There were a few tables and spots in the floor that were sticky. I attempted to pour a drink from the fountain and the DP and Coke were out. At that I just sat down. Food came out, mine was good, my wife's tenders after her 1st one were cold đ„¶. I went to the bathroom and the male door has some type of substance and the hydraulic arm is disconnected so a disabled person would not be able to get in. The bathroom smelt of urine. BUT it did have soap and paper towels. So while I gave 2 stars for the food and atmosphere, I could see the front cashier was trying and remained cheerful and friendly, so 5 stars! Oh, and those two guys who had asked earlier about their food... yeah, the food had been on the shelf the whole time. I stood I waited & waited so I took a phone call, The lady in front of me got through ordering, and the cashier looked at me like what what do you want! And I held up my finger you know like Iâm holding it like just a inch apart here hold on one second⊠The girl that I was getting food for was telling me something extra she wanted⊠So then the lady walked away, I was the only customer at that moment, she wiped down five tables 5 mind you and behind me 4 new sets of people came in. She was punishing me for not stepping right up and ordering. I am sorry it was not my fault⊠So this guy walked by and I asked him hey can you take my order and he said no Iâm not on this register so he went and found her and she turned around and looked at me and said no and she turned around and walked away and he goes and they talked for a minute or a half a minute⊠And she comes âwhat do you wantâ⊠I ordered what I want, but I am scared to death that she will spit in it.    Read moreTonightâs experience with DoorDash and Wingstop was completely unacceptable and beyond frustrating. My original order was not just mishandled it was thrown on my porch by the first Dasher. I reported it immediately, and DoorDash reordered the food for us, which I appreciated.
However, things went from bad to worse. Twenty minutes later, Wingstop cancelled the second order. When I called to find out what was going on, the manager put me on mute mid-conversation, so I hung up and called back. The employee who answered laughed when I asked about my food. They claimed the second Dasher stole our food, so they âhad to cancel the order.â
I remained calm and patient through all of this, but when the Wingstop manager acted like he didnât care, I got understandably upset. Only then after wasting over an hour of my time and essentially seem annoyed so when I got hot headed did he suddenly try to âfixâ the issue.
This is by far the most unprofessional experience Iâve ever had with a restaurant and delivery service. Iâm not someone who complains, but this was handled horribly from start to finish. Between the thrown food, the stolen re-order, the unhelpful staff at Wingstop, and the lack of real resolution, this entire situation...
