Fratelli's Wood Fired Pizzeria - Avalon — Restaurant in Avalon

Ordered online and went to pick it up. Arrived right at our pickup time but there were a few people ahead in line. By the time I got to the front it was 5 minutes past our pickup time. Gave the guy my name our order #. After stumbling around looking inside multiple pizza boxes it was obvious something was wrong. He tells me it will be a few minutes and starts helping people behind me.

While this is happening another couple come in with a pizza box and claims they were given the wrong pizza. The guy then hands them their correct pizza and give the pizza maker the box the couple just brought in. The guy feels it to see if it’s warm, throws the pizza back in the oven for a minute, takes it out and puts some toppings on it. That was our 3rd missing pizza. After telling the gentleman I didn’t want the used pizza he assured me it wasn’t that one and sent me off. After getting home, it was that one because there was a pile of arugula on it. So we had 2 cold pizzas that were sitting out for over 20 minutes and a used pizza.

Save your money and go else where. Takes a lot for me to write a bad review for any restaurant but this place...

May 5, ordered a pizza for pick up. Not one of their standard menu pizzas. “ I would like to order a large pizza with cheese, Italian sausage, pepperoni, and fresh baby spinach” Asked: Do you want tomato base? Yes. A number of questions about my order that should not have been needed and have never been asked at any other time that I have ordered pizzas anywhere. When I picked up the pizza there was no cheese at all on the pizza. So I called to speak with the manager. I was told he wasn’t there and I could leave a message. I asked for the manager’s name and was told that she could not give that to me. I insisted again and a man came on the line. I gave him the above info. He said he would get me another pizza which I declined. I said that I was concerned that if these things were not corrected they would suffer this summer when business would demand normal pizza service. He told me not to worry about his business and focus on ordering the right pizza. Apparently the wrong order was my fault not theirs. So I don’t make any more mistakes I will not be returning to this Pizza? Joint. I will also not be...

Awful service....two of our four meals were served after about a half hour from ordering. The other two took an additional hour (paninis). We took our paninis to go because half of our table had been done eating for near an hour . We were not told of any delay until I requested our order to go. Only then, I was told there was a problem in the kitchen, sorry. No compensation, and an incorrect bill the first time. Upon entering and be seated before 7p, there was only two other tables of guests, not busy. Upon leaving at 830, not an open seat.
