The Dogg House Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Avon Lake

Yesterday, my friend and I stopped in the Dogg House Bar & Grill to check it out and watch a few minutes of the end of the Browns game. We sat down at a table and realized that we had to order at the bar, without table service. We ordered 2 fountain sodas, neither were refilled, and one was only half consumed. When we were ready to leave, I went back to the bar to pay, and was surprised with a $6 tab. I asked if the bill was correct, and the bartender snapped; "That is what the computer says. I don't make up the prices." Perhaps I am naive, but I felt like I was being gouged for choosing to order a non-alcoholic beverage, especially a fountain drink, half ice, without table service. I have traveled the world, visited many bars and restaurants, and am not stingy, but I don't remember paying this much for a small fountain soda. I left feeling dissatisfaction and wouldn't recommend this place...

Horrible drinking and eating experience I will never go to back again. The bar was so brightly lit that it gave us migraine headaches. The prices for the food was unbelievable...the tacos are not tacos, they are chicken tenders in a wrap, and I have never paid $5 for a single chicken tender in my life. (A taco has lettuce and tomato... ) The beers were way overpriced. The pretzels were completely undercooked, all doughy. And 10 minutes after getting back to the job my coworker threw up after eating the chicken tacos. It was all bad. I have no idea how you guys stay...

Went to see Dr. Seiple play in the band. They have an open Mike night every Thursday. I had the salad with fried chicken and blue cheese dressing. For only $9.99 you get a huge salad with a whole breast of chicken on top. Make sure your hungry because it's hard to finish because it's soooo big! My Husband had the salad with parmesan encrusted baked chicken & honey mustard dressing. It was very hard for him to finish it & we hadn't eaten all day! It's a very nice casual place with very attentive servers. They even have 2 pool tables & a very nice...
