Montilio's Baking Company & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Avon

I was at the Jordan's Furniture location on Friday, March 31st. Around 2pm, I ordered an Italian Sub. At a cost of $12.00.

The menu description is as follows. Mortadella, Salami, Capicola, roasted peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, drizzled with EVOO & Italian seasonings. (Hots optional)

I ordered it with everything but lettuce.

I got home and opened the sandwich. I got the following (and this was on each side of the sandwich.) 1 slice of each of salami, prosciutto, mortadalla, and provolone cheese, a half of slice of tomato on each side of the sub, and a total of 11 pieces of a chopped onion. No seasoning. No oil... (See the attached picture for reference)

Not only does this not even match the menu description, but at most, there is probably about $2.00 worth of Italian cold cuts on this sub for the price of $12.00...

I am sooo disappointed...

Montilio's you get zero star's...

I’m doing a half of 5 stars because of 2 reasons. 1 the food we ordered at this “luncheonette” was really good. We ordered 4 different sandwiches and we got a giant pickle and chips with every sandwich. The sandwiches had a very large amount of meat and cheese and the bread was very plentiful. 2 The only negative thing is the staff. First off it’s extremely loud in there and the staff needs to realize that and not be so rude when you ask them to repeat themselves. The woman ringing orders at the register could not be more unhappier to be somewhere than where she was. When it was time to get our order you have to verify that you have everything because they do leave stuff out. I don’t like having to police my own order but come on if you are going to do lunch you need to get better at the system you should already have in place. Lastly. Get some soups on your menu. This would be a perfect time to offer soups since the area you provide to eat in is...

While, at first once this review may not seem like a good one, I want to give a big shout out to Montilio‘s bakery in Avon. Due to a small mixup with a pick up date for an order of pastries for a party, when I arrived to pick up my order, it was not ready, but the people working quickly helped me come up with an alternative at no extra charge. Mistakes happen and they handled it professionally and efficiently and I’m grateful!!! Will absolutely use them again. Thanks to Atyia and crew for your amazing...
