It's 2019. Every business that has card readers can also take Samsung pay, Apple Pay & Google Pay. BUT DON'T TRY TO TELL THAT TO THE MANAGERS AT THIS SONIC!! Apple Pay and Google Pay use NFC, or near-field communication, to power contactless payments. Just tap your phone to a compatible terminal and the transaction is complete. Samsung Pay uses NFC and a technology called magnetic secure transmission (MST). When you hold the phone against any terminal, it emits a signal that simulates the magnetic strip on a card. This means it works with pretty much all terminals, without the merchant having to update their point of sale systems. I TRIED TO USE MY SAMSUNG PAY CARD from my phone in the drive thru. Which by the way I use on a daily basis everywhere and other drive thrus. I was told they can't do it. I tried to calmly explain that they can. The manager got angry with me. I got out and went to the door to explain. I even offered to write my card number down (I have it memorized) so she can punch it in manually. Again I was told that's not possible. I told her I just want to pay for my purchase. And that they actually CAN and HAVE done that in the past. She then proceeded to tell me: "I was not her boss!" "It's not secure." (I reminded her it's more secure because it uses my fingerprint.) "Not only can we not do that but we WON'T do that." And with that she slammed the door in my face and walked into the depths of the store. I tried to apologize for having offended her as that was not my intention. But was ignored. I saw my order sitting on the counter looking lonely. I ended up leaving empty handed and full of remorse that these poor folks are stuck...

I called and they told me he misunderstood. Well if he misunderstood why would you give him his 20 back? why not just make it right? And yes you did slam the window! Whatever happened to the customer always being right? Told the window was spring activated lol well if thats the case then ive never had it slam on me? Will take my business to the farmington sonic where they are always polite and fix every issue without accusing the customer of misunderstanding. Said he drove off? Read moreI pressed the button, at the bottom of the screen it said someone will help me shortly. I waited 20 minutes and nobody even answered to help me. The entire time I could see 2 employees with headsets standing around talking. As I was about to pull away a young lady came out looking for another customer who got tired of waiting for the food and drove off. I asked why I hadn't been helped, she just said I'm sorry, and acted surprised that I hadn't even placed an order yet. This really is consistently the worst sonic in the area.
