Aztec Riverside Park Animas River Access — Attraction in Aztec

Nice, clean park. Our dogs and kids love it here. They have plenty of room to run around. The grass is always cut and taken care of. We have been coming here for over a decade and have never had a problem. They love to play on the playground. There are quite a few different pieces to play on. There are walking trails and the river not far from the park. And of course, the bridge where everyone goes to take pictures for all kinds of occasions. There is also a public fishing pond, a softball field, and a rodeo arena. My daughter used to ride in rodeos here when she was little. We've had plenty of parties at the picnic tables here and a BBQ with my son's baseball team in the field. This is where they used to have Fantasy of Lights around Christmas time, but idk if that still goes on anymore. That was really cool!
