Wish I could give ZERO stores. Poor management, horrible service. First waitress didn't know what came with any of the meals, or the times of the specials, etc, I had to let her know that it was happy hour and that it lasted until 7pm. My two college kids settled on the $16.95 steak meal and the $16.95 all you can eat catfish meal. I got the shrimp and the crawfish quesadillas and a strawberry margarita. Well, the waitress forgot to bring the salads when the dinner plates arrived and didn't bring them until 30min after the other food arrived, and I had to remind her about them. She finally left early with a headache, bringing us two "to go boxes" for the salads she brought so late, but at least she was nice and apologetic for the mess up. But then the 2nd waitress who took over for her came to the table with a nasty attitude, immediately giving side eye and telling my son in a nasty loud tone that he could not take his fish in the to go box because all you can eat was in resturant only. Um, he wasn't even taking the fish. He was eating it. The to go container was for his salad and my daughter's salad that arrived so late. My son is a big man, 6'3, 275lbs, 20yr old college student. He was enjoying his fish and planning on ordering more until that exchange because it's not whole catfish fillets, its small strips and they only give you about 5 small strips at a time. But the waitress was so nasty acting and condescending speaking to him like he was a criminal and she was the fish police that she made him feel very self-conscious. Everyone was staring at us as if we were trying to "steal fish". He got up and left and was not able to finish enjoying his food and certainly did not get his $16.95 worth. I requested a manager who was just as young and silly and really did not care and insisted the owner of Lagniappe made them watch customers and confront them to make sure they didn't take any fish with them. Really? What an awful place to go. All you can eat is not really all you can eat. They give you big piles of fries but very little tiny pieces of fish and make you very self conscious about ordering more. I ended up with a $65 bill and we had a HORRIBLE time and my son barely got to eat at all and went and sat out in the car embarrassed by being humiliated publicly by the terrible waitress named Chelsee. She ruined our entire dining experience. And so did the complacent manager. Very bad customer service apparently encouraged by the manager according to the two of them. AWFUL. To make it worse, the food is barely seasoned and didn't even taste that good. But we were trying to make it work and enjoy ourselves....

I placed my order on Door Dash (aka paid for already), stood in line for a few minutes, two employees passed me and another customer who came in after me by, and never told anyone we were standing there waiting to be serviced, I still waited patiently afterwards. When I realized that no one was going to come service me, I grabbed my food and started to walk out, then from thin air, boom, an employee! Yelling at me as I left. The manager, who had been sitting at the table rolling silverware, was yelling "OH WOAH BABY NO" to me as I left. I told her I had been waiting and people walked by and no one ever said anything for me to get help, and that my food was paid for. I then came back and asked to speak to the manager who I had no clue was the person who had just yelled at me. We then had an exchange of words which resulted in her telling me that "I shouldn't have been back there", rolling her eyes neck and just giving complete attitude, which may be true, I did not appreciate her reaction. I have a job with a strict lunch break and I know that I should not have had to wait and be ignored by two employees, and start to walk out with my food to finally be acknowledged. I then called back for the general managers information and constantly got placed on hold. There were two cars there when I left. How is it possible for them to be that busy a couple of minutes after I left? On top of that, I was informed that the Zachary location is also under the same management. I called that location hoping for a better interaction with the employees. I was told that no one there had the general managers information immediately? How would you know that no one has the number or email that fast?? I made it back to work and my food was COLD! I understand the restaurant industry due to me working in it for years, however what I don't understand is the treatment that I received tonight. I would have been fired IMEDIATELY had I done...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo this happened today! Went to lagniappe to get to-go order drinks, heading home from work. I ordered 4 drinks. They didnāt have any to-go drink carriers so I had to carry them out on my own, along with my phone and car keys. Made it to my car and a drink dropped. The young man, who works there, was assisting me and asked me to wait a minute (naturally, Iām thinking heās going to replace the dropped drink). Correctly assumed, he comes out with a drink and immediately I begin thanking him because he was extremely hospitable. As he approaches the car, he states the cost for the replacement drink. Iām thinking heās joking but I quickly realize heās serious. He states his manager says it will be a cost to replace the already existing made drink. I stated I wasnāt going to pay for a drink that dropped because they lacked adequate carriers. Now Iāve exited my vehicle to go in and speak with someone to ask are they going to refund me since Iām down a drink that has been paid for. They explain that I will have to purchase another one. To exit this situation, I decided to leave because it didnāt make sense to escalate this. I absolutely had, no issue in purchasing a $3 drink, I couldāve purchased their lil slushy machine that made the drink. At this point it was purely principal. Your establishment failed to provide carriers for multiple drink orders and yes, because I dropped it, I canāt have a replacement. I guess theyāre going to pour that one that travelled outside back into their machine???? Seems appropriate for this establishment. I know one thing for sure, that $3 will cost them more in the long run. I occasionally have dined here, but many members of my family are regulars and spends hundreds of dollars there within a weeksā time. That all ends today over a $3 replacement, slushy machine made, bottom...
