After years of going to the southwest location, I found myself here after a run. Our trail ended at 8:40, so Chuy's and Tony's Pizza were out. It was now a choice of BWW or Firehouse. Let's do this chronologically.
We got there at about 8:50 and happy hour starts at 9. Sitting at the bar, we are asked what we'd like and we mention that we're here for late night happy hour and mostly beer in pitchers. Our bartender understands and says that she can't pour early or put the order in until 9. We accept that, but then she leaves us to sit unattended until shortly after 9. It would have been nice to be offered water while we waited, but that's a minor thing.
As the rest of our 4 person group trickled into place, we sat at the bar with our 38 ounce pitcher of Dos Equis for 13 dollars and 4 glasses largely left unattended again. It wasn't particularly busy, nor were we clamoring for attention, but we felt particularly ignored by our bartender Genevie.
After managing to flag her down a few times, we did get some food orders in: happy hour burger deal and some tots. I will say that this was one of the best BWW burgers I've had in a while. I don't think I've ever had a bad one, but this was fantastic for what it is. The boneless wings were cooked properly with the appropriate sauce, and not overdone or underdone, same as the tots. They even got my request for blue cheese right instead of ranch.
I noticed a BWW ad on the screen for $3 Coors stubbies, and at 12 ounces for $3, that's another 10 ounces for a dollar less than the small pitchers they offer; we normally go for pizza and full-size pitchers, so the pitcher happy hour price is NOT a deal. Honestly, Pizzaville will give you a 64 ounce pitcher of craft brew for $14. But, we were here, so we made do.
Getting the next beer was challenging, so I chatted with other people that sat down after the rest of my party left. Watching them get served and then me being ignored a few feet away felt normal now. Shortly before they left, I got a final Coors and was left to myself again.
I was honestly at the point of walking out with a shortchanged tab because Genevie had ignored me again for so long. However, just before I was about to take my leave, she asked if I was doing alright and I asked for the bill. The prices and itemization were correct, so thanks for the accuracy, but I will not be in a rush to come back here again.
Even talking to my friend sitting next to me before he left, he agreed that the service felt very much aloof, especially considering how slow it was.
I'll stick to other businesses and the southwest location to get better service, even when the crowd is jumping. Hell, I've had quicker service at Sandrini's on a Saturday night. If I want to be ignored, I'll hang around my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible customer service. I placed an online order for delivery and when I received the order they forgot one of the sandwiches, the grilled chicken sandwich. I called the store to let them know what happened and they told me I could go pick up the sandwich, it could not be delivered even though I paid the delivery charge.
I went to go pick up the sandwich and asked if there was a way I could get the delivery charge removed or be put as credit and instantly one of the workers told me no, that since it's a 3rd party company they can't do anything. I understand that but the employees were really defensive and rude off the start. No attempt was made to say sorry, to get a manger or help try to make the situation better it was just an instant no, sorry you paid for delivery but still had to pick up your food and we can't help you and don't care, call doordash.
If their customer service is going to be like this then doordash might as well not even be used at this company because many issues will happen and the company does nothing to help, all that will happen is the store and company will get many angry and disappointed customers
I didn't put 1 star because I know mistakes happen and they still made the food, but the customer service at this location is terrible. A lot of employees with poor and defensive attitudes.
Edit: this is the response I was given.
"Dear Eduardo BARAJAS,
Thank you for contacting us at Buffalo Wild Wings.
We apologize for your experience with the delivery that you received. However, please contact the 3rd party delivery company directly to help resolve concerns about preparation, delivery time, or missing items.
It is our hope that you will give us another opportunity to provide you with both fantastic service and great food in the future.
Sincerely,
Buffalo Wild Wings Guest Relations"
I don't know why they told me to message them, they could have just replied this on this review. I really wouldn't have written this review if they just helped a little bit like by saying sorry, helping by providing the number to call for doordash or put in some effort to feel like they actually care, like seriously it wouldn't be worth it, but it's obvious the company doesn't really care. I can call doordash to get it fixed, I know I can, but the attitude of both the company and the people that work at this store clearly feels like they can do whatever they want. Changed it to 1 star, doubt that would make any difference but the experience was a 1...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell 5th visit wings are usually hard and crispy and burger grissely. This time 3 of us got charged $80 instead of $54 and I didn't notice until this morning. Usually I catch it but tired of fighting companies with every transaction and just wanted to relax and not worry.
Instead I noticed this morning, as I had thought during the nights that the check wasn't right, that the 2 for $19.99 deal we got, they rang up for like $55 instead. Rip off place lousy food dont go here. Carl's Junior is better!
Sat there 20 minutes before anybody came to our first table. By then we had invited a third person so moved to a bigger table. We were about ready to leave when they took our order. Friendly server but apparently she doesn't know how to use the register or It's an orchestrated effort from the company to rip people off which I think is more likely since every company I deal with is incompetent including this one.
The Onion rings were good. The wings were hard as usual. I mean I don't know when you eat boneless wings are they supposed to like crunch in your mouth and hurt your teeth? I mean aren't they supposed to be soft? Do they leave them under the warmer for like 5 hours before dinner?
Now I have to waste gas to go get my $25 and do I get part of my tip back? Are they going to pay me $5 for gas now and my time at anywhere from $50 to $120 an hour? Most companies deserve to go out of business including this one. If you don't know how to handle food or money maybe you shouldn't own a restaurant.
I made three mistakes on this evening. One was going to Buffalo Wild Wings, The second was trusting the bill, and third was not checking it like I usually do because for one moment I thought I would have an attitude of trust and contentment....bzzzz fail. Never trust any company or anyone they are all trying to rip you off and will rip you off unless you fight and expose it.
Buffalo Wild Wings: Don't bother sending me this response below that you send to everyone that's unhappy.
