Delivery Drivers beware! To start off with I've been a delivery driver with Uber now for four years, and have been picking up from this Too Fat location everyday for two years. I have also been a customer since I was in middle school, I have fond memories of the location downtown. Today upon entering to pick an order accusations for time clock theft against Uber were instantly thrown up on me by a female employee at the front counter. At first I didn't know what to say and was speechless, taken by surprise by the allegations. I responded with how the Uber system works, and that another driver could have waited on the order to be ready in the parking lot, and declined it. Where then the order would be sent to me. She double downed and waived me to come over to the tablet where she insisted she was right. After further arguing I told her I had just in fact received the order and walked in 20 feet to the restaurant from my car. I've been picking up from this same location every day for the two years that it's been open, and have been a driver now for four years. Don't you think if I was time clock thefting Uber would have fired me by now? Further more I don't work for you, if you have a problem call Uber and start a claim against me. Uber has all the information to determine who is right on their back end. You can call me a lot of things and I won't get upset and just let it roll off, but calling me a thief and a liar... Oh boy. It's kind of baffling how I've been picking up here for two years and seeing the same people and faces at the front counter, and then one day being treated lower than a piece of trash this employee scraped off the bottom of their shoe. This female employee at the counter has my first and last name, apparently I don't get hers. You've just lost a lifelong customer, and Uber driver that consistently picked up here on a...
Read moreCame here on Saturday at 2:45(they close at 3) and I did not feel welcomed at all. We were rushed through our order. It was my sisters first time there so she had questions. The girl in the front was very pushy about our order and wanted us out. If they didn’t want us to come at 2:45 then they should’ve closed at 2:45. Ive worked in food service for many years and never once was mad at a costumer for coming in during business hours. Otherwise the store was clean. There were no soups. It was very hot they had a fan on that was just blowing...
Read moreI would always order the pastrami when it was on District Ave. The bread was the freshest and the sandwich would just melt in your mouth with savory flavors. I was excited when this one opened close to home. Very disappointing. The sandwiches are much smaller and the homemade bread was stale. For the price, Too Fat, you can do...
