Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Bakersfield

Since we had discovered the “BBQ AT THE RANCH” our family has been ordering it at least once a week if not every week and a half with wings and extra 4oz ranches. Today 3/14/2024 per usual we called it in ahead and our order was 75$ and some change (normal, since we always get small pizza for the toddlers on the side.) The associate that took our order let us know to be there in about 20mins. We took about 35mins to arrive and my husband still waited about 45mins more upon arrival for our dinner. The pizza was not what we usually receive, the taste was entirely different, no ranch on it , no chives and again the flavor was just not it for us. Now the wings, well those seemed very under cooked and we ended up just whipping something up fast here at home. GREAT atmosphere, great food, refreshing frosty beverages, competitive prices, and most of all incomparable service. I was lucky enough to visit here during football season and was able to watch a full day of Sunday football. And let me tell you, I had a blast. From the cold beers, to the delicious pizza & wings, and the people. I left there with an experience I'll remember for a lifetime. I'm not from Bakersfield but everybody I met there made me feel like I was. The establishment was clean, very spacious, had a big gameroom in the back with 2 pool tables, there was plenty of parking, wheelchair access, and the restrooms were well maintained throughout the day. My family and I came in last Friday and got 2 large pizzas, wings, garlic knots and a couple pitchers. The cost? Around $300. And they had the audacity to ask my daughters for money for WATER cups. Maybe they thought they were going to get sodas but they don’t even like soda. I don’t know. I feel like for the money we paid. Shouldn’t be charged for a water cup. Won’t be going back. I can see why we were the only ones in the dining room on a Friday evening. I get inflation. But this was ridiculously expensive for a family dinner for 5. Pizza was okay. Service was okay.
