TL;DR: Charming spot with a massive menu, customization, and great drinks.

Sharetea is a great new spot in an otherwise dated shopping center. It brings a nice modern look to the area which is very welcome. I came in October and the interior was decorated and you could tell they had some fun with it.

Looking over the menu, for most drinks you can customize the amount of sweetness and ice. I ordered the matcha red bean milk tea and was pleasantly surprised by how fast I got my order, making it a decent spot to grab something during your lunch breaks.

The staff were all friendly, from the young woman who took my order to the friendly man who encouraged me to try my drink at the shop before I left.

The drink itself was great, nice and cool as the day started getting warmer and just enough pick-me-up that I could get back to work without feeling jittery (results may vary).

I was so happy to find a boba place I'm my area! They have many of the flavors of boba teas that I like and even some I would not have expected to find in Bakersfield. I was happy. First you can pick the tea you want and which (if any) add ins like boba, pudding, or jellies. You can determine which sweetness level you want also.

I had the Taro Milk Tea with boba and Lychee jellies 80% sweet. The boba pearls were perfect consistency and the jellies were tasty. With 80% sweetness, it was the perfect amount of sweet for me with all of the other sweet things in mine.

It did take a minute for them to transition from one customer to the next but I'm sure the flow will get better. The customer service outside of that was good and they seemed friendly.

This was our first time at Sharetea, and will not be the last. The Boba drinks are delicious, the service is amazing, and the shop is super cute!! This Sharetea location provides lots of options to ensure the drink is exactly the way you like it, and they put a good amount of Boba in the drink. Our server was very kind, answered all of our questions, and helped us create our perfect drinks. Since it was our first visit, the server also encouraged us to try our drinks before we left, offering to remake it or have us select a new choice we would like better if it wasn’t perfect. Of course, our drinks were fabulous, so there was no need to remake them. Before we left, my daughter insisted on taking a picture in front of their cute backdrop.
