NOW OPEN FOR DINNING as of 5-30-20 at LA FOGATA !!! Very good food & service..shrimp tacos de la plancha are very delicious,, Oysters always fresh,,wet Burritos a must,,and with a Bar in this Establishment,, it is definitely a plus to have with your meal because the drink's here @ LA FOGATA RESTURANT are excellent. my favorites Mix drink here is the Screwdrivers & Cadillac lime Margarita's servedw/1800 cuervo,, a must is the Modelo micheladas are just too good for you to have just one,, Simply excellent..back to the goods of of their dishes served up here. And I have give this dish a two thumbs up is something I call finger foods is their Nachos,,have one and you'll Wana have them all,, they're addictive,, really they are. Also if you like Guacamole,, then your gonna have to try some of their delicious Taquitos here @ LA FOGATA RESTURANT. This is the spot were I found the Krispy delicious Taquitos. The Taquito dinner come with beans and rice and a generous portion of the Gaucamole and then some ,, always fresh is their tasty Ingredients they use to make their Guacamole. 3 Taquitos come in either Chicken or beef in the dinner or ala carte orders,, the 1st time I tried their Taquitos,, I've been ordering them @ least 3 times a week,,what can I say,, I jus love them.. the best I've had.. Probably why I come 3xs a week to ""LA FOGATA RESTURANT"" SGV BEST TAQUITOS & GUACAMOLE !!! Sooo I’ve been coming here for roughly 6 months for lunch dinner etc: and all I can say is wow!!! This place is bomb!!

I came here for the first time in Feb 2019 and got their Nachos and Steak Fajitas which were both spot on!! The chips and salsa are great although be warned they do have a spicy kick to them. But their still great!

The servers here are also great! They have a very simple way of providing service that works. Drinks are always full, food is out in a timely manner and the servers themselves are very polite. They don’t try to up sell constantly or be too overly polite to the point we’re they come off as overbearing. And why do they need to? The menu and food here sell themselves!

I’ve never had anything here that wasn’t just downright delicious. Seriously, I’m surprised this place isn’t always packed because the overall atmosphere here is just great!! I love this place and if I ever move I will be sad to say goodbye to this place because there are few other restaraunts that are this good on a consistent basis.

I decided to go to this restaurant during my lunch break yesterday I was enjoying my meal and I was just about to be finished so I asked my server for refill and I was surprised to find that they charge. Being that it's 2018 I was a little thrown back by that especially since I've worked 10 years in the restaurant business I have never been charged for a refill on a soft drink especially in a restaurant setting so I didn't want the refill anymore I just asked for a box and the check and when I received the check to pay I decided to use my debit card and I was told that I was going to be charged a debit card transaction fee, at that moment I immediately got the feeling that I never want to come back to this place again the first time I came in there I was wondering why it was so slow now I'm understanding why. On a bright note I still tipped my waiter $10 because at one point I was paying my bills with tip money so I understand even though she chose to work for that restaurant it's not her fault if they are low budget.
