This review is for Target not for this location. I went into the Target Baldwin Park store today 12/20/2020 in the electronics dept and spoke with a store associate. I asked him to help me use the Target.com website because it said item available for pick up only but no where I could find where to check out or add to cart. Employee said for me to do it online. I showed on my phone and told him I'm online and can't do it. He said store associates are not trained how to use the website and Target has nothing to do with the website. I couldn't believe it. I asked him again: so they didn't show you how to do these transactions and target store is not affiliated with target.com? He said no. I told him that I would be writing to corporate about this. Target is not being transparent with the customer. Who are we buying merchandise from? Is my cc information not protected if I buy online with them? The website is not save. Just be careful when you enter your info. I've never had an issue with the actual store! The store is clean and they have average customer service. The toy dept could be better stocked/ usually has many empty shelves, but I guess it just means lots of parents shop for toys there too...
Read moreOzzy one of the supervisors at Baldwin Park Target was exceptional and went beyond the call of duty. I am thoroughly impressed and my faith is restored because of this young man. Let me begin I was at the Duarte store which is 13 miles away and was told that the Listerine (original flavor) was available and there was 13 bottles. When I got arrived at Baldwin Park store there was not one bottle. Ozzy did a search and found that the Puente Target had a few bottles. He phoned them and we waited 15 minutes before they answered and they refused to do a store check. He asked for a supervisor they told him that there was not one available and he insisted to speak to a store director and they hung up the phone. He was professional, compassionate and went beyond...in today's culture it is very difficult to get good quality customer service. My faith in good people is restored because of Ozzy. Read moreI like to shop at target and I rarely write any bad reviews, but I had a horrible experience at this target today. The lady named Lucy at customer care desk had very bad attitude towards on returning items. The item I was trying to return was open box. She only looked at the box and told me it was broken without even checking the inside. It was a toy stove and had a removable handle. Without checking it, she just said the handle as broken. When I tried to return my second item, she told me she was not able to return it because it was open. I asked her without seeing what’s inside, how I would know I don’t like it. The manager named Jacob had no help at all. He pointed to the return policy said they have right to deny any open items and just left. The only reason they gave me was they couldn’t sell the open box items. I’ve shopped in lots of stores including Target. I thought their return policy is for customer’s satisfaction.
