Marabella's Tacos — Restaurant in Baldwin

4/22 Back again with an update. Now Marabellas Tacos has expanded their menu to includes sides of frijoles, and more mains, including burritos. These burritos are HUGE and have such good flavor. And as always the prices are extremely reasonable.

4/21 A friend told me about this place. It's between Baldwin and Cornelia, on Hwy 441. Two sisters are making traditional tacos and other Mexican fast food items from fresh ingredients. The flavors are extremely good, which makes it an anomaly for Cornelia. Traditional corn tortilla tacos made with your choice of chicken, beef or pork along with your choice of toppings are $2.95 each. You simply must try this place. It's listed as a restaurant, but it's more like a sandwich stand inside the Marathon gas station. The prices are amazing, the taste is astounding. Well, I ordered a carne asada burrito with everything, however they forgot the sour cream!? I also ordered 3 tacos carne asada meal with extra cilantro and onions, it did not seem like extra to me!? I would have given the meal between a 6 to a solid 6.5 with out the red salsa. With the red salsa a solid 8.5!!! I saved half of the burrito for home where l could add sour cream. Let me tell you, it took it over the top to a solid 9.5 possibly 10!!! The burrito and tacos were not seasoned enough for me... However that red salsa is perfectly blended with salt, peppers, herbs and spices!!! Driving from Tampa to Dahlonega, we stopped to get gas. I saw there was tacos inside and it struck me as odd so I felt compelled to order. I Ordered a steak street taco with hot sauce and…Wow!

It took less than 2 minutes and it came out hot, well presented, and friggin’ delicious.

The corn tortilla was perfection, the steak was seasoned wonderfully and was tender, and there was the perfect amount of cilantro and onion.

Oh yeah, the hot sauce was amazing.

All in all, If you are in town we’re getting gas you better come in...
