One and done with this place. Would give 0 stars if it was an option, very disappointed. The staff needs customer service training and the food quality was poor. Also white table cloths and napkins do not represent the product provided.
We ordered 1 appetizer which we received within the expected amount of time. However, when our sandwiches came out, 1 hour later, it was clear that some of them were sitting in the window. One burger was well done, one was very rare but not requested to be cooked that way, the chicken was hard and the meat in the cheese steak was dried out. The person who had the rare burger did not want to send it back since it took so long to get it. They were vomiting all night and missed work the next day.
It was a high volume day, but there was no sight of management. Having been in the business, a manager normally visits the customers if they are running behind in the kitchen to at least apologize for the inconvenience and maybe offer to not charge for the appetizer.
Had we known the food quality was going to be this poor, we would have saved 2 hrs and ordered take out for a better experience.
Emailed management about our issue, did not receive a response. Called 48 hours later and explained what happened above. They made the excuse that it was an unusually busy day and challenged me when I stated my brother was ill from his burger. This just cemented our decision...
Read moreDuring the parade, my husband was in to grab a quick drink. He stood there at the bar for 2 whole minutes and no one even acknowledged him. There was someone stocking the cooler who turned around and saw him, but did not stop to help. And the person at the register was getting help or talking to someone. So he proceeded to just use the facilities and leave.
Sadly we were not surprised by this. Just a few weeks ago we had some time to kill and decided to stop in for a drink quick. There were 2 people behind the bar, one at the register just talking to someone for a while. The other running into the back a lot. It was not busy. No one at the tables in the bar area or pool table room. Maybe 6 total people at the bar itself. Again, husband and I waited at least 10 minutes till someone noticed us and asked what we wanted. We had our 1 drink each and waited a while more. No one cared to see if we wanted more or anything else. 2 guys all the way down at the end towards the front said they had been waiting for their 2nd drinks for 20 minutes. We had to flag a waitress down to get our bill, that took at least 10 minutes. I'm sorry but it just really seems like the ladies behind the bar didn't care much about anything except having a complete conversation with 1 customer or eating their subway hoagie that was prominently displayed on the back wall with all the...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped in after spending a few hours at Fensty's Indoor Flea Market. The parking lot was adequate for the time of day we visited, but I imagine it would be tough to find a good spot on a Saturday night. Tori, our waitress, was an attentive and delightful help with menu selections and the history of her small town and hotel. We started with the butternut squash soup. It was delicious! I had the pulled pork with mac and cheese in a sizzling skillet. Excellent flavor and just the right portion to allow for a take-home lunch the next day. The missus had the chicken flatbread, and she enjoyed every bite! The bathrooms were clean, and the atmosphere was cozy like an Irish pub, with interesting signs posted throughout. At the end of our feast, we struck up a conversation with Tori about the hotel. She told us all about the past owners and the annual Irish "wake" celebration, in addition to a friendly gift. All in all, a great afternoon in a little town in...
