Hillsmere Resturant & Bar — Restaurant in Baltimore

I lucked up by having an opportunity to spend a few hours at the Hillsmere Restaurant and Bar. The place is a gem. Located on Belair Road in East Baltimore this Restaurant & Bar has it all. Food that can best be described as "Chic- Old Soul". Old Soul because you will find familiar fare (wings, fries, veggies, seafood). Chic because of the layers of flavor infused into each classy and familiar bite. From The Bar Tender who began his shift by cleaning everything associated with his task, to the husband and wife team that welcome you like a lost cousin the service and atmosphere were both warm and genuine. I saw the sign for this place a few weeks ago on my way home and have been dying to try it out and I am so happy we did!!! We ordered the crab pretzel, crispy brussel sprouts, beef sliders and the jambalaya!!! Everything was superb!!! The portions are quite generous. I was really impressed with everything.
