Read moreSo, I visited for a FLYING DUTCHMAN TURKEY BURGER, and it was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. It did not have a pinch of salt, pepper, garlic, or onion powder in the protein. The PICKLES WERE GREAT, and the ONIONS were the ONLY enjoyment after adding some seasoning at home. The sauce was just meh, and the kiwi lemonade was JUST SUGAR WATER. The customer service started out great, then turned sour when I tasted the sugar water or kiwi lemonade is what they called it. I figured maybe they did not stir well bc it was SWEETER than a chic fil a lemonade. I asked for less ice since the cup was 3/4 filled with ice, and when I walked to get more sugar water, i tasted it and decided, I did not ike it and did not want to try to drink it at all. The woman was talking smack and clearly annoyed bc she had to go in the back and add more sugar water to a cup or refund me. She arrived at the counter and saw I tasted the drink and said to keep it and agreed to refund me. Since I understand how small business works, i opted to decline the refund because of her attitude and opted for them to keep the 20 bucks AND TIP I left since all started out so pleassnt. Now, i get home, burger looks amazing, and I am ready....one bite, two bites, 3 bites more, and naaahhh, I did not spend 24 bucks or so to throw it all away. Was not gonna go back and really voice my complaints since some small business owners clearly are not professional nor mature enough to handle criticism. I have over 120k likes and have visited several lots of established small and large businesses. Normally, do not write long reviews, but I could not let this one go. Again, ONLY TASTED THE FLYING DUCHMAN TURKEY BURGER AND KIWI LEMONADE AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE ITEMS. I will not visit again. I did eat the burger since i spent 16 bucks, and my stomach has been...
Read moreThis little restaurant has all the makings of becoming a classic Baltimore establishment. As creative as the menu is, it's also really down to earth. It's the sort of place that some other establishments want to be, but they can't quite manage it. You've got to try it at least once.
Awesome food, awesome selection, awesome service! There is so much that looks wonderful on this menu, even for vegetarians. The hot dogs come in different versions, so you can get any of the dogs on their menu in a regular hot dog or a beef frank, or I think a Polish hot dog or a veggie dog. Just watch the toppings.
I think they have every kind of lemonade and iced tea type drink you can think of, too.
It was really hard to decide what to order. I wish I could turn myself into 10 people so that I could try 10 different hot dogs at the same time from this place.
The mac and cheese dog I decided on was amazing with the most delicious Mac and cheese and the roll was wonderful. It made 2 meals for me. It's still good reheated in the oven wrapped in foil. My daughter got a burger, and that was great, too.
If you don't like the waste produced by the packaging that take away food often comes in, I saw no plastic clam shells here. The containers were paper based.
My husband picked our food up for us and had me on speaker talking to the woman working there as we ordered together. She was really friendly and so nice, and he said the place was super clean.
I highly recommend this awesome little restaurant. It's really special. We are actually about due to head back. We visited some time ago, but I somehow didn't post the...
