Hello people of the google world, My review is based off an uber eats order. I have physically been to this location and always wanted to try there food; i wasn't able to because i deliver uber eats orders for the customers. I personally saw all the popularity the restaurant was receiving through the app and ultimately made an decision that one day i was going to try their food. the environment is very clean and staff seemed presentable. Which further urged me to order plus i love caribbean food. This specific night i ordered it was raining so wasn't hard on taking the chance to drive over to order in person so i ordered through uber. i ordered jerk chicken , rice & peas and plantains my mouth was watering as i was waiting to receive my order. i waited about 15 mins and checked back in on the app to track my food and the restaurant still didn't confirm that they were accepting my order. So i google their number and called the location. the 1st call someone answered and hung up. the 2nd call someone answered and hung up again. the 3rd time i called some answered and rudely said "What!?" i did not know what i did what it made this person extremely angry. I began to express my need " i put in an uber order for an large jerk chicken and two sides. Can i have an update on my order?" she says " ooh i thought i canceled were closed and we don't have any jerk chicken " at this time is was 10:03 and online it says they close @11pm a whole 57 min before they actually closed. WASTE OF TIME AND...
Read moreI didn’t get what I originally ordered which was the oxtail quesadilla. I placed my order and was told I would receive a text once it was finished. I waited in my car for nearly 30 minutes before I returned inside only to be told that my quesadilla was still not ready. I informed the woman at the pick up window that I needed to get my kids and she stated just 5 more minutes. The food wasn’t ready still so I told her I wanted my money back. At that time the woman who originally took my order stated “quesadilla is cooked to order” I then replied what quesadilla takes 30 minutes?” She then asked me if I wanted something else I stated it didn’t matter since I wasn’t going to get my money back. I was given oxtails with cabbage and Mac and cheese which she stated cost more than an oxtail quesadilla. The meal was underwhelming to say the least. The Mac and cheese taste like sugar noodles the cabbage wasn’t seasoned and the oxtails taste like sugar and cinnamon. I was disappointed and I’m not sure if I would even try anything...
Read moreI've been going to this restaurant for a few years but I've noticed the decline in quality of food, earlier today 2/18/2016 I bought some calaloo and salt fish which is my regular meal I always get but I was not pleased with the amount of chunks of garlic in it, I mean they were not diced or minced in any kind of way, of course I had to pick them out because I don't eat whole garlic! They even went up on the price of the patties and now plantains is extra money if you want them, before it came with any meal as a side! Every other Jamaican/ Caribbean restaurant gives you plantain with the meal except this one, Increasing the prices while the quality suffers! I will no longer support this business!! Nothing is really authentic about this cooking here, and my background is Jamaican so I know proper food when I see it! it's catering more to the American ppl vs the...
