The food at Royal Maroon is SCRUMPTIOUSLY DELICIOUS!!! I must admit, I looked up and down the block for this restaurant after hearing about it on TikTok and how good the food is. A customer going in smiled and directed me to the restaurant inside of Blue Caribbean. NOTE: Royal Maroon is not West Indian Flavor II, which is next door. The smiling staff were pleasantly attentive in helping with my menu choices. Costs were reasonable. The oxtails, curry chicken, cabbage rice and peas were so good. Spices were wonderful. Sauces were plentiful and tasted superb. Honestly, I wish I had seconds! Royal Maroon is now my go to for Jamaican food. I give Royal Maroon my highest rating of 5!

My other go to spot was closed so I decided to stop in. I was afraid to go here because it's a club at night but luckily it was empty. I ordered 3 platters; Jerk & Curry Chicken, Curry Chicken and Curry Goat, and Oxtails. The food was so hot that I drove around for 45 mins and it was still hot. The portions sizes were good. My only critique was that the jerk Chicken was kinda dry. A little sauce would have helped it. I'm definitely going to return for some dinner and rum punch.

I’ve been on the hunt for delicious, authentic Jamaican food with zero luck until today. A homegirl recommended this place and I’m so glad she did. It’s rare that every component of the meal is delicious. I’ve had places that make good rice but nasty chicken. I ordered the oxtails and curry chicken. I have Nothing negative to say. I could eat it everyday. Literally! The only issue I had was not receiving my plantains. My meal was so good I didn’t realize it until my food was gone lol 😂. Aside from that I am overly satisfied. If I can make a request, please offer dessert. I had to buy dessert from another restaurant. Keep up the great work. You have a...

I have been coming here for over 22 years. Mike and his wife and mom were here. She was so sweet. Mike is a good man and has participated in my Brothers Who Can Cook. He has built a legacy for his sons, who are kind and respectful, with the best smiles. I can't wait to his son when, adds his vegan options. If you haven't been here make your way through. Prices to fit every budget and they got the turnaround time down to a science, plus food is consistent.
