Edible food, but not worth the hassle. Wish I could give negative stars.
Ug. This place puts fliers on my door about once a month, so I thought why not? Never again.
I placed this order online and gave my credit card and billing info to a supposedly secure server just like any other sort of online ordering. Nephew's then phoned me to tell me online ordering process wasn't really online and I had to provide my card number to them over the phone--a thing I would not ordinarily do at all especially since the number that phoned me had a Kansas exchange. I did so anyway after assurances. They told me that the credit card info goes to their "office" which is not open at 9pm. Really? That's not how a shopping cart works.
I then got a second call 15 minutes later saying they did not have one of the items I ordered (breaded mushrooms). No big deal. I said that this was OK, to please refund my card. The man I spoke to said they'd already charged my card. I advised him to charge back the full amount and then re-charge the correct amount (like every business on earth does). He seemed confused and handed me over to a lady. I repeated this and she agreed that they would do that.
The delivery driver showed up--he was on his phone and paying no attention to what he was doing. He handed me an order that had an itemized slip that bore no resemblance to what I ordered. I caught him at this point, and (still on his phone) he swapped it for one that did have my itemized order on it. He handed me $4 in cash to refund me for the mushrooms I didn't get (they were $3.99, they didn't take tax into account).
I got it inside and the food in the bag was incorrect. There was no cheese-steak, but rather another sub. The Caesar salad had ham on it (a weird option, but I knew this was a possibility and specifically requested the option for no meat on their online form because I don't eat pork). There were cheese fries for no apparent reason. The only thing that was correct about this order was that there were boneless wings.
I phoned and was told that the delivery driver would be called to see what went wrong. 10 minutes later I phoned back and said that I no longer had time to deal with/wait for them to fix this order. Since I'd opened the incorrect food, it would be wasted no matter what and I said I would eat what I could.
The person I spoke to seemed confused about the fact that this many screw-ups and time considerations meant that I had interest in fixing this order.
I have sent the company an email not only asking for my money back but assuring them that I will institute a chargeback in 48 hours if they do not do so.
On an up note, the food I could eat (the fries and wings) were perfectly acceptable Baltimore takeout fare. Not good, but basically what I expected when I initiated the order. Honestly, I'm usually more of a "food edibility matters and service does not" sort of person, but this was ridiculous. Will not order again, and I sincerely hope they don't let their fliers darken...
Read moreIt took over 9 minutes to place our order because we were put on hold several times and had to repeat our order several times.. we we're told 45 to 50 minutes. Ok, I get it, they're busy.
I waited over an hour and 10 minutes for my food before I called to check the status of my food. I was told that they were already here, apparently they wrote the apartment number AND my telephone number incorrectly, even though it was repeated several times. They then argued with me over the phone for several minutes, trying to tell me the man was here with my food, even though my boyfriend was standing outside the apartment building door. I gave my boyfriend the phone and gave up. After trying to figure out where my food was for 10 minutes, I was over it altogether.
Food finally gets here and it's warm, at best. We ordered 2 cheese steaks, one is completely wrong to the point where I can't even eat it. I don't even have patience to call them back and complain. They'll probably just swear that it's right anyway. $40+ wasted.
I called back against my better judgment and the man proceeded to argue with me about Old Bay on my cheese steak. He said they put Old Bay in all of their cheese steaks and I have to ask for it to not be on there. I told him I ordered a cheese steak the same exact way the other day, with only extra cheese, ketchup, and fried onions, and there was no Old Bay. He proceeded to yell and me and hung up on me.

Read moreI did not dine in or know if they have dine in as a option. I ordered a delivery order from them tonight 11/16/2023. I'll never order from this place again. And I've been eyeballing them for a WHILE wanting to try but skeptical. I ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza, 6 party wings that I thought were WHOLE wings, AND a burger. When I called to see if my order had left the store because it was over the time duration I was given. The person who answered says the driver will call you when he's outside. I hung up and then thought I'm paying my money and yet he didn't answer my question about my order. So I called back and demanded to know where my order is. All food still arrived cold and nasty. Was a total waste of 33 dollars. The burger was so over cooked and it's so much mayo on the burger trying to cover that it's overcooked.
