I am contacting the dm or gm of this restaurant to report negligence, grievance, and discrimination regarding your store staff and gm on duty. Around 1:45 a.m I placed an order for a medium pizza to be ready, they gave me an quote of 15-20 minutes which is suitable. However, when entering the store and going to the counter, I was told by one of the staff that my order wasn’t even made. While I understand it can be difficult to maintain orders, I called ahead just so I would NOT have this problem. Now, while waiting for them to make my order, it is going on 2:30 a.m. No costumers in the store other than me so why did it take 45 minutes to make a 12 inch pizza. Now upset, I ask to speak with the MoD and no one wanted to provide a name or the person. Now I began to be vocal and they send out this lady who appears to be the MoD. She came out with the nastiest, rudest, and most impolite answers to give to an costumer and did not even want to engage in the dispute. Now I begin to ask for the actual GM and DM number and she told everyone not to give it out nor give out the number to cooperate or name of the GM. I felt as this was a discriminated action on her part, cause if I were white she would provided it with no hesitation. She walked to the back of the store and began to use her phone, not even returning to the front. The whole staff is unacceptable as they laughed while costumers did not get their order on time especially the dark skinned lady who is on the reg. The only person who actually provided some service was the African waiter who was very understandable.
I would like for the MoD on duty either be relieved of her duty as manager or I will proceed to file not only negative reviews, but a lawsuit for the actions and mental trauma this staff had...
Read moreIt was not an overall great experience at all. When we came in, the gentleman at the counter was very enthusiastic at welcoming and greeting us(greatest part) , and our waitress was just ok. I mean she only checked on us once and we were there for over an hour. And sitting there thirsty waiting for her to bring us refills. Then, there was this older woman that walked up to the table where they seated us near this extremely rowdy table of teens who thought it was funny to change the channels on the TV that was over top of where they seated us. They turned the volume extremely loud and switched to a channel that just blared the noise of a station with no programming. I guess they aggravated her or scared her because she said nothing.., however she didn't have to seem like she was taking it out on us either. She just walked to the table and started pouring water in the glasses, slammed them back on the table and said nothing while we were still reading our menus deciding if we're just gonna change our minds and do carry out since it wasn't a peaceful pleasant atmosphere. That was very odd to me. The food came out quick however which was great, but it was very difficult to mix my salad and cut it up on a flat plate. Most of my salad went off the side of the plate. A nice bowl or something more deeper than a plate would've been great. I was disappointed with my crab cake that was advertised as jumbo lump, however it was mainly soggy crab mush. I don't think I would be returning to this place. I hate to spend money in places that don't even care if you have a great experience or not. This was my first and last time at this ghetto place. So not how people have raved about... maybe we just came in on...
Read moreMy grandson and family recently moved into a home that is a short walk to Valentino's. When I took his girlfriend and 4 year old daughter to run errands yesterday, his girlfriend told me about a nearby restaurant they'd visited. She said the food was great and reasonably priced so, on the ride home, we stopped there for takeout. Let me begin by saying that the reviews that call Valentino's AMAZING, do not exaggerate. This is a high quality restaurant, evidenced by the obvious care this owner has taken with every detail of his establishment - his staff, the decor of his restaurant, the wines and menus, the quality and freshness of his food (right down to the chips that come with a sandwich!!), the heavenly desserts on display. Serious thought was given to every selection and every selection represents this owner very well. Our visit was during a late lunch hour. The Valentino's Club Sandwich I ordered turned out to be the best sandwich I've ever eaten. The meats and cheeses were excellent quality and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite, down to the last delicious potato chip. The simple chicken baskets ordered by my grandson's girlfriend were unusually good and even our strawberry lemonades tasted extra. For excellent food at reasonable prices, Valentino's can't be beat. I highly recommend that you try them. I'll be returning soon for dinner and for breakfast one Sunday.
A note of apology to the owner: During our short wait, my 4 year old great-granddaughter, who was both tired and hungry, was running around a bit, working hard to keep herself awake. Please accept my apologies for...
