Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Banning

I had just finished a long hard detail in the desert of Yucca Valley, CA, so on my way home as I hit civilization :), I decide I would "Treat" myself to Church's Chicken for a job well done, small things make me happy, so happy I was at the anticipation of getting g the Chicken, I even started taking pictures as I arrived to share with my friends , well little did I know when I would pull up to the window for my order , the woman at the window treated me so rudley it was almost unsettling, so bad it was , I had to collect myself and say to her ""THATS NOT THE WAY YOU SHOUPD TREAT PEOPLE"", let alone your customer who had done nothing at all bit make an order. so I didn't even take the order, I have a simple rule, #1 Don't let people mistreat you a d #2 Never eat food from the hands if an angry or bitter spirited person and put that in your body , so I simply drive away, hungry and a bit hurt wondering what did I do to deserve such terrible treatment, was it my old decommissioned black and white patrol car or what it the black man inside ? either way I was over it until thus request for survey showed up, maybe it showed up for reason, that I should pray for them and truly let it go, I will, but immsure many of you can understand when someone mistreats us for no reason it can haunt a bit . Horrible service. The lady told me it would be extra for okra with my family meal. I said I was ok with that. Then she says order it online cause she couldn’t change my sides to okra from the register, so I did. Then she says she don’t have okra after I already ordered online.I said ok give me fries then. She says “the fries are cheaper I don’t want to waste your money “ I told her I know what I want and the price of it and it was fine…She gave me refund and She told me to come back tomorrow don’t waste my money on fries . I’m like what the hell who does that…I was really patient cause I wanted chicken and didn’t want them to do something to my food if I ordered. She really didn’t want to work or cook she kept telling my to get mashed potatoes or corn or Mac and cheese..I really wanted some church and okra but she turned me off. I’m So upset. How you tell a customer to come back tomorrow don’t waste...

Visiting California from out of state. Spent most of my life living in California but no more...but that's the subject for another "review".

Terrible sound quality on drive-thru speaker. Freeway noise is strong at ordering speaker.

Person who took my drive-thru order had a heavy, non-U.S., non-Hispanic accent.

Ordering was difficult.

Just got 5 chicken tenders. No one asked if I wanted any dipping sauce. They handed me the bag and then I asked for sauce and got some.

The tenders were dry and chewy and not very warm. They seemed to have been orphans left under the heat lamp for a LONG time. Very disappointing.

Overall a poor experience. There are no Church's were I live now but I used to visit them in Louisiana where they were pretty good. Have been to good one's in California.
