We showed up at 915pm on Saturday 2/3/24 after a cheer comp, ready to eat and the restaurant was empty. It was also my dad’s birthday so we were hoping to get him a decent dinner. I asked the server/hostess if they were still open and she said yes but they close at 10 (google said 24 hrs). Asked if we could still eat and she sighed, rolled her eyes and said “sure.” She sat us, then mumbled under her breath something about “hope you’re not too hungry.” Then she went to the kitchen and was yelling with the cook about us being there and “no one told me I couldn’t seat anyone!” Her and the cook continued to go back and forth about us being there so we got up and left because we felt unwelcome about the whole thing. We were barely there under 5 minutes, as we were leaving another family was walking in and she turned them away as well. It was just weird that they would keep the doors unlocked if they didn’t want anyone to eat there. I get it that it’s getting late but the website did say 24 hours so how would we have known. The whole interaction was weird and IMO unprofessional. We went to Dennys a few blocks down and the food was great, and service was fast and friendly. We definitely won’t be going back...
Read moreI went in because I had an offer for a free order of pancakes, any style, for my birthday. I asked the waiter if I could take them to go, and he said fine. He asked for the code, which was in an email on my phone. He took my phone and walked away, with my phone, which I did not like. I saw him start to enter my order, without asking what type I wanted. I had to yell to him what I wanted. He then had to verbally tell the cook, since the order was already in the system. He then came out to verify what I wanted, and I had to physically show him on the menu. When he finally brought out my order, all tied up, and I asked if these were the right ones, he said "yeah", but I had just heard him ask the cook where my pancakes were. I untied the bag and saw my order was wrong. The cook had to prepare the order a second time, this time correctly. If the waiter had just written down my order, like a usual order, none of this would of happened. Plus he should have written down the code, instead of taking my phone, since that was both a health and safety issue. I would have given him a tip if he got my order correct...
Read moreMexican lady working at 1:30 AM was HORRIBLE. She has the worst customer experience I’ve ever encountered coming from me, who used to work at ihop. I understand different stores have different policies but I politely asked if I can use the bathroom she tells me no because I need to buy something. I left the store saying aw okay it’s just cause I have a long roadtrip ahead... As I’m walking back to the car, my brother said it’s okay he’ll buy something so I can use the bathroom because I was full and had just ate. My brother and I walk back in and he tells me to go to the bathroom and meanwhile hes going to order so we can hurry and hit the road again… This lady starts getting an attitude talking about “I don’t wanna start an argument” and she’s just following the rules because she doesn’t want to get in trouble… lady my brother is gonna order give me the damn code all she was doing was sitting chitchatting with the other guy that was working. Pretty sure you should be restocking and cleaning since there was no customers but yeah … you do not wanna get in...
