12/15/2024 - Great dinner and great service from Nayeli! She was very friendly, kept checking to make sure our drinks were filled and our plates were restocked. Nayeli and Amanda are the 2 best waitresses. The genuinely treat us with friendly and happy attitudes. They should be recognized for their excellent customer service!
Also, very happy this location has a new manager. John is an excellent manager who is so much better than the previous one. The team of employees at this location, good food and clean restaurant keeps us coming back.
2023 Usually a great place (we've been taking our family of 8 to Sizzler to celebrate each person's birthday for decades) but on our last visit the manager (Luis Silva) was very rude and unprofessional. From the get go at the register he gave us attitude, was difficult to understand and ruined my mother in law's 75th birthday celebration.
First he got upset when my elderly mother in law asked him to repeat her order to confirm it was correct. Next he talked over my wife and I while we were ordering for our family. We had to repeat several times because he keep interrupting us. Then while we were eating he came and accused us of having other family members eating at the salad bar (which we were not doing). He assumed this because my wife asked for a new plate for our son (who had the unlimited salad bar and didn't like the food that was on his 1st plate). Luis Silva ASSUMED my wife was asking for a plate for another one of our sons. When I confronted him about this accusation he dismissively walked away.
Lastly, my mother in law never got her birthday ice cream sunday brought to her. I wouldn't be surprised if the manager (Luis Silva) told the waitress not to bring one to our table but I honestly think it was due to understaffing. Our waitress was good but it was clear she was...
Read moreThis is kind of a low-end Sizzler. The front counter employees at 5:30pm 12-13-2024 talk to you like your 5 years old and deaf. We sat in a booth closest to that counter. The whole night, I listened to how they spoke to customers. They were very annoyed with a superiority complex. It was sad and uncomfortable to listen to. There was one elder man bussing tables. I noticed his attention to detail. The ice cream was very watery. The taquitos were stale and very hard. On this particular evening, there was so much mixed food in other foods. I know it's a salad bar, but on this particular evening, the guests must have been extra careless. I know the restaurant doesn't control that. The bathroom was pretty dirty. I just so happened to look at their bathroom schedule at 6 pm. The last time it was "checked or cleaned " was at 4 pm. When I went in there, the water on the right sink was running, and no one was in the stalls or bathroom. I know this is a long shot, but I believe there should be a handicap or gender neutral bathroom or something of the sort. When I was on my way to take my daughter to the restroom, there was a husband helping his wife, who was using a walker, get to the door. But he stayed behind while we went in after her. He spoke to me and said, "Excuse me, I just have to wait here because I can't go in there with her to help her." He seemed sad about it. I stayed longer just in case she needed help because I am a certified caregiver. I just think it would be nice if they had something like that for situations like this. The food at the salad bar was readily replenished. The cheese toast was a little soggy on the bottom downside, but it tasted good. The service was a little slow. Maybe short staffed maybe not, regardless it was slow. Again, one of the lower end Sizzlers but...
Read moreTo me, sizzler isn’t the best or the worst chain restaurant. I was feeling indecisive about where I wanted to eat so my dad suggested going to Sizzler since he’s a fan of their unlimited shrimp. It was starting to become busy when we arrived and we were greeted kindly by the staff up front. She was very sweet to me as I was struggling to figure out what I wanted and a line was forming quickly behind me. After finally picking the classic trio, I went with the roasted yam as my side and medium rare for the steak. My dad got the steak and unlimited shrimp and he opted for medium cooked steak. We also both got the salad bar.
Once we paid, we were allowed to choose anywhere to sit, so we went with a booth near the salad bar. Our waiter was extremely attentive and was quick with our requests and refills. When the food arrived, I was surprised with how small the portions were. For how much they charged, the size isn’t worth the price.
The steak was cooked to the correct temperature however, it was extremely small and overly chewy. My jaw honestly hurt afterwards. The roasted yam wasn’t too bad, it was slathered with brown sugar butter. The chicken looked and tasted like it came from the hungry man frozen entree and had a weird piece of cheese and ham on top. Meanwhile, my dad’s entree came out a bit better, the steak was still small but the unlimited shrimp wasn’t too shabby. The server also brought out a bigger portion of shrimp every round. Overall, the experience was mediocre at best, the service was great and the place was relatively clean but the food was just meh for the amount we paid. Unless you really love sizzlers, I don’t recommend eating here if you want to leave with a...
