Typical greasy spoon, which I typically enjoy. The food was great for the price expected. Our family enjoyed the 50s theme and music playing. The decor was incredible. A very full menu to choose from. I loved almost everything about the experience.

My problem was with the only waitress who seemed to be working. Her name was Tanya or Tamra, something like that, but she was incredibly rude to not only me, but also my husband and children. Half the time we couldn't understand her because it seemed like she only had a fifth grade education, and instead of learning grammar and vocabulary, she was taught Ebonics. Anything we asked of her, she made clear that we were an inconvenience, either with an eye roll or a sigh. We felt as though she couldn't get us out of the diner quick enough. And whatever was on her phone was certainly much more important than the restaurant.

It truly was a disappointment, and had we been served by someone a little more friendly and competent, we would definitely come back. But after this experience, there is no way we will spend our money to be treated...

Getting a good meal at a good price is becoming an impossibility as time progresses, but much like this diner hangs on to its 50's theme, it also maintains pricing and service that is old fashioned as well.

Not everything on the menu is an absolute hit, but the serving staff will be happy to share that information with you if you ask, and some items are absolutely exceptional.

Their burgers could use a little work, but you can't go wrong with ANY of the breakfast options, where you get an enormous amount of quality food for very little money. I've also always been happy with their dinner specials they have featured on their board as well. For me, this is my go-to spot for an inexpensive meal with home cooked quality. There are other competitors in the area, some of which are also quite good, but Dee's...

Worst experience I have had in a long time. Got there and sat down a lady gave us menus and asked what we wanted to drink. Don't think she worked there though? We sat there for an hour and no one came to take our order. We got told twice that someone would be right over but, that didn't happen. Place was busy it seemed they were maybe understaffed? Saw one waitress, a bus boy, and guessing a cook in the back. Whom the other lady was that took our drink order and gave us menus idk. Maybe she was a nice local who helped out because she felt bad seeing they we're understaffed for the Thursday breakfast hour. So we ended up leaving after waiting the hour with no service and going to Remarkable up the street to get some breakfast. It was my friends 40th birthday and figured we would get a bite to eat but I...

1st time at Dee's, and the place was cozy. I ordered the open face roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and corn. The mashed potatoes were a fresh smashed potatoe, not fake. I like how they only used one piece of toast and the beef was tender and flavorful. The only thing was I thought that there could of been a little more gravy. Other than that I would definitely order this again. My Mom ordered the Liver and onions. She said the liver was tender and was tasty. She also enjoyed the fresh smashed potatoes. Service was prompt, and the restaurant was clean. It gave you that old school vibe. I would definitely come back another time, and try something else on the menu. Maybe even save room for one of there deserts they have that looked delicious!

This place is awesome! We aren't from here, so had no idea what to expect. First, the baby blue and white booths are HUGE by today's standards. There's room to be comfortable, without feeling cramped. Second, the decor in general is really fun - 50s movie posters on the walls. The music is straight 50s duwopp and old time rock n roll. And the food....I got chipped beef on toast (yum!) and a salad. The salad was huge, and had tons of veggies, and a <whole egg> sliced but all resting together. My husband got eggs, toast bacon, and 2 of the most humongous, fluffiest pancakes I've ever seen. (See pictures!!)

I have not sat inside it yet. But the inner part of the diner is awesome if you love that '50s vibe. Thankfully, they have an awesome patio with umbrellas, and you can sit out there and enjoy the infrequent good weather in Ohio haha. One thing I was not expecting from this place, was an all-day breakfast menu. So I entirely expected to go there and order a sandwich or something along those lines, and ended up getting a sausage gravy and biscuits, cubed potatoes, some bacon, and some over medium eggs. All of which were really good. Me and my lovely lady will definitely come back.
