Pepper's Pantry — Restaurant in Barnstable

Went there over the weekend and got 2 fish and chips and a vegetarian sandwich. Great fresh fish, fries were nice and not oily and my daughter loved the vegetarian sandwich and it was so big she could only eat half. My daughter goes out to eat more than I and she remarked how reasonable the prices were. The menu had much more on it than I expected. The gentleman at the register was very friendly and I think is the owners father? Very pleasant experience and would definitely go back again when in the area!

10/5/25-went back there today with my other daughter and the food was so good! She ordered the fish sandwich and I ordered the chopped linguiça sandwich. We were planning to bring it to the beach to eat it but then the bag of food smelled so good, we had to indulge in the car and we are so glad that we did. These are some of the best french fries that I’ve had! For a dollar more my daughter upgraded to the Parmesan fries and I upgraded to the Cajun fries and it was worth it! They were so crispy and delicious! Not dried out and the sandwiches were great as well. They take really good care in making the food and the nice thing is that the prices are reasonable and taste so great!

Also, it’s not just for hot food but it’s also a little mini mart with drinks, chips, a variety of snacks and candy. Very convenient place! There’s also a breakfast menu I would love to try but I’m usually just visiting the Cape here and there and not in time...

I recently ordered from Pepper’s Pantry for the first time, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience! As a vegetarian, I’ve tried falafel from various places before but never found one that I truly enjoyed. However, the falafel in their vegetarian sandwich completely changed my mind. It was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and made with the freshest ingredients. It finally gave me the delicious falafel experience I’ve been hoping for.

I also ordered the shrimp wrap for my daughter and the linguine sandwich for my son, and both were equally impressive. The flavors were on point, and you could taste the quality in every bite. It was clear that everything was made with care, with nothing overcooked or under-seasoned. The homemade fries were a delightful bonus, providing a much healthier alternative to the usual bagged fries with all their additives. I truly appreciated the effort to keep things fresh and wholesome.

Eating here for about a year started very good and went down hill due to different cooks cycled thru , ordered chicken Caesar wrap came with chicken more spicy than the bang bang shrimp with don’t get me wrong I like spice but doesn’t go with a Caesar wrap lol . Bang bang shrimp was more cheese than spice where idk why cheese was involved to begin with , their burgers are still very good but between bowls and wraps very unsure how certain things are disposed to be made and presented , curry chicken is far from curry chicken is supposed to be , coleslaw is not a side that fits all , kinda feel for somthing quick it’s ok but the consistancy is not there , would recommend for a quick lunch but...
