I recently dined at Moretti's restaurant, and I cannot express how thoroughly impressed I was with every aspect of my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the hostess, setting the tone for an exceptional evening.
The ambiance at Moretti's is simply divine. The restaurant's interior design is a delightful blend of modern elegance and rustic charm, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The lighting was perfect, not too dim or too bright, allowing for a comfortable and intimate dining experience. Whether you're on a romantic date or enjoying a meal with friends and family, Moretti's offers a setting that suits every occasion.
Now, onto the star of the show – the food. Moretti's cuisine is nothing short of outstanding. Their menu boasts a diverse selection of Italian dishes, each crafted with precision and using only the finest ingredients. I had the pleasure of trying their signature pasta dish, and it was a revelation. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was bursting with flavor. Every bite was a true delight for the taste buds. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that you leave satisfied but still craving more.
The wine list at Moretti's is extensive and well-curated, with options that pair perfectly with the various dishes on the menu. The knowledgeable sommelier was on hand to offer recommendations, enhancing the overall dining experience.
The service at Moretti's was impeccable. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They guided us through the options, answered our questions, and ensured that our glasses were never empty. It's evident that the staff takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about the satisfaction of their guests.
To top off the evening, we indulged in some delectable desserts. The tiramisu was a standout – light, creamy, and the perfect ending to an already remarkable meal.
In conclusion, Moretti's restaurant is a true gem in the culinary world. From the inviting ambiance to the exquisite food and exceptional service, every aspect of this dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. I wholeheartedly recommend Moretti's to anyone seeking a memorable and top-notch Italian dining experience. It's a five-star establishment in every sense, and I can't wait to return for another...
Read moreDon’t waste your money!!! Scheduled a little get together after a baptism on Sunday February 14. Called to get everything planned out as there was about 30 of us. Spoke to a manager named Luis Martinez regarding the party. He couldn’t answer any of my questions and kept putting me on hold I thought to get the information I was asking for. No - he just said he would do he could and try to a accommodate us for a 3pm meal. Needless to say the day before the event I called again to get the family style meal organized. I spoke to a Mike Kelly who said it would all be taken care of, we would be in a semi private room. Day of the event we all show up as scheduled, I talk to the 2 servers ask them if they have the menu so we can get things moving. I was told it would take 10-15 mins for the food to arrive once I told them to send the food. We ordered drinks (bottles of wine and draft beers)which took 30 mins to arrive. The food took over an hour to show up. Straws were never passed out for kids drinks! When the family style chicken showed up the one tables food was cold. The other tables chicken was hot as the server wasn’t paying attention when he was trying to put it on the table and tilted the dish, all the hot juice fell on the head of a 2 year old! He brought napkins over but never came back. A manager never stopped by the table ever. I stacked plates and boxed the left overs. I had to ask the server to clear the plates. Service was horrible, food was mediocre. I sent an email to corporate the next day and never had a response! Nothing from this experience was good! It’s too bad as we were trying to support a local business but that backfired. We definitely will not becoming back!...
Read moreI’m not sure if management changed or if the cooks have changed but this was our first awful experience at Morettis In Barrington. We placed an order to go for grilled calamari, pasta with a side of meatballs with Italian sausage, the Halibut dinner and the broasted chicken. When we placed the order over the phone , we had them repeat the order back to ensure there weren’t any mistakes . Somehow ….. they still messed it up ! After waiting about an hour, we finally received our food only to discover that the grilled calamari and side of sausage with meatballs was missing. Mind you this was supposed to be MY birthday dinner celebration. When we called back they informed us that those items weren’t added to our order even though we had them repeat it back word for word ?? The girl who answered had attitude, which didn’t help AT ALL. They eventually decided to drop off the missing items at no charge . This was still inconvenient because the rest of our food got cold before the remaining items even arrived . Once they did arrive … what a surprise, they forgot to include the meatballs with the sausage even after I called back to make sure they were included! To top it all off … nearly every single food item was OVERCOOKED. The Halibut was like jerky and my pasta was mush ! What a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT , especially when it was supposed to be my birthday dinner . Over $100 later for what ?? For overcooked food with half the items missing . What a waste of time and money. I recommend trying Zazas in Lake Barrington instead . Amazing Italian restaurant with great service and great quality food ! Located at...
