Frantonio's Italian Deli & Cafe — Restaurant in Barrington

Frantonios is a very great place to eat at and to order some food from if you have not tried them yet, Their staff are very hard working people and do their best to make sure your food gets out on time and done with love and care. The staff at this place are wonderful people and make your day better if you’re having a bad one. Frank the owner is such an amazing person to sit and chat with as well, You got any questions about food, he is the man to talk to. 30 years in the business and that guy knows how to whip up a great tasting plate of food with the help of his cooks as well. Or if you just are on a quick run to get a bite to eat, surely get one of their sandwich’s, they are freshly made everyday and made with love and care. So stop in at frantonios and get you some food, i promise you won’t regret it, they are located in the commons area by the post office...

We were looking for a new lunch spot in Barrington and we are glad we stopped at Frantonio's! First impression the restaurant is really clean and open. The menu had great options. We went with the Italian Beef with hot peppers/cheese. Hands down the best one I have had in the area. Meat was flavorful, the peppers were the right amount of spice and the cheese was nice and melty/great pull. The bread was nice and toasty and offered another texture. Serving the juice on the side was perfect...and the flavor there takes the whole sandwich to a different level. We also had the Panino Pollo. 10/10 would reccommend, the ingredients were fresh, the sandwich was warm, the sauce or oil was perfect! Both were filling yet light at the same time. Great sandwiched for lunch or a light dinner!!

So running around all day on my day off. Lordy Lordy. Found this hidden gem. Enjoyed the owner Frank and lovely lady behind the counter giving me advice. Lasagna, ravioli, tomatoes motzs basil leaf with this homemade vinaigrette dressing.. to die for. Minastoni soup fresh bread tossed salad & of course.. Tiramasu for desert. My boyfriend and I enjoyed hearing stories from the owner. 25years ago use to work at 6 corners in Chicago.. Guess who was there working back in the day.. how did I miss this Hidden gem. Regardless.. found them now. We will be enjoying the food very often. Can’t wait till I have a party.. They do catering.. yes!! Make it look like I know how to throw the best party.. In my opinion. It of course about your family and friends. But.. please.. “the food” Warm and friendly folks. We will be returning...
