I’ve found in life it is not hard to be nice or polite. I visited this evening around 835. There were 4 employees working within eyesight of the front counter. None of them said hello. The drive thru attendant started to walk over when a short young lady with hair dyed pink approached the register. I said hi how are you. She did not respond. I ordered 2 blizzards. She gave me my receipt. I said thank you. She said nothing. Another employee was working on filling up the ice cream machine. She gave the okay for the employee waiting on me to fill the cups. She mixed the blizzards, attempted to throw something in the trash and missed. She commented to her coworker about that and about taking some items to the back. She flipped my blizzards put them on the counter and said nothing. I said thank you and she said nothing in return. She turned and walked away. I went to the condiment area got my spoons and napkins and ate with daughter in the parking lot. Additional cars went through the drive thru and another customer went inside, so it’s not like I was there right at closing time. I will use this example with my staff so they understand customers have a choice and how we treat them is ultimately the deciding factor for whether they use us or the competition. It’s a shame because the blizzards were good, but I think next time I will go to Sheetz or McDonalds to soothe my sweet tooth. Lost business all because staff couldn’t smile, say hi and you’re welcome. Simple customer service things that still mean something even if it is 2025 and not...
Read moreI sat in a line for twenty minutes not ONE person asked me if I needed anything or to hold on. Then this snotty teenager comes to the window and says “like sorry. Our like headsets aren’t working” idc. That’s NOT my problem. Also it’s a drive thru you can’t just drive around. I had to wait. I asked for the manager. Guess what ANOTHER teenager. Are you serious? Holding back her condescending attitude with a smug face. “ um yeah like our headsets are broke” SOOO????? So if you came to see me at my job and I said “like sorry your blind but like my equipment is broke” NOT an excuse. I’m sorry. I asked her why she didn’t offer me a resolution. She had the nerve to roll her eyes and say “because I’m not letting her talk” I did let her talk. Enough to know they were just trying to get rid of me. I was an annoyance to them. She actually ended with shutting the drive thru window in my face when I asked her if that was really the right thing to do she said “guess not” and shut the window. Conversation over. I will not rest until this employee is fired. I’m sorry but this type of attitude ruins people’s day. That’s not fair. Their boss needs to look at this and realize YOU CAN NOT RUN A BUSINESS WITH NOTHING BUT TEENAGERS. Funny now I know why the first girl laughed when I asked for the manager. She knew what was about to happen. This is a small town store. Unexpectable to talk to people like they are an annoyance. Not one person...
