Had good experiences inside the restaurant, till we made the awful mistake of ordering to be delivered on line. Food never showed, Caitlyn (rude) told us it was our problem (because the manager Cal had told her to say that) and we needed to sort it out with DoorDash (according to them as DoorDash is a 3rd party company its nothing to do with them when customers dont get the food they paid for). Refused to replace the order they said was delivered when it wasn't and refused to refund. I posted a negative feedback on their Facebook page of which they decided instead of apologizing and refunding the order I never received, to have a full blown argument instead. Ridiculous. The pizza is good, the attitude towards problem resolution is abysmal.
Update: Further to my review, Cal the manager proceeded to trash me on Facebook without using my name with more lies about how they had the order ready by 30 minutes early (order placed at 6:25 with estimated 6:40 delivery and how I had been rude to their wonderful young staff. However, they blocked me on Facebook so I couldnt defend myself with 'facts' and so I proceeded to call the restaurant and Cal stated I was banned from the restaurant and hung up. Never at any point was any recourse offered by the restaurant to resolve the issue i.e. replacement, order, refund etc etc etc. Just character assassinations on Facebook.
Its a shame, the Pizza is good, nice interior but customer service stinks to high heaven.
Update: Reached out to the owner Tony and explained the situation and offered him my phone number to discuss and resolve the issue as Cal had taken it way too far. His response was a lengthy email of how his staff are right, a bunch of nonsense lies stating his employees offered to resend or refund the order (exact opposite happened) and then ordering me to remove my negative review(s) and write a letter of apology to his staff.
Needless to say...wont be happening.
Never set foot in Mythical Pizza!!!
As to response from what the owner stated below, I put one posting on Facebook that he decided to stretch into an argument for an hour, not the other way round. I have my spouse who witnessed each phone call on speak phone as well. They could see the review coming because they know they are 100% responsible and guilty of the facts stated. They made ZERO attempt to resolve the issue, refused to replace the order never received and refused to give a refund, DoorDash had to go after them for the money back as they would not give it to me, so yet another lie along with them telling customers on Facebook to order through their website for delivery NOT directly...
Read moreThis is a creative, cool and interesting pizza place. The staff is kind and chill. They make pizza at higher quality than fast food but our 3 pizzas did take 15 minutes(worth the wait!). It provides a good family meal, not super cheap, but not expensive with very customizable offerings for all different types of Pizza. The store is very cool with a lot of knickknacks and merchandise for the brand of the store which are cute, silly and fun to look at! The store even has some arcade games that you can put coins into and play. It is definitely a family friendly restaurant and a cool place to hang out when you wait for your pizza or eat your creative pizza. We had 3 different pizzas. They were all amazing and eaten quickly! They were all well roasted, toasted, cheesy and yummy but one was better than the other two. One of them was super delicious with: corn, jalapeño peppers and barbecue sauce; A great USA style pizza. The other one was a vegetable lovers pizza, but it was kind of a letdown because while the screen you order on showed a bunch of vegetables on the vegetable lovers pizza, the only vegetable actually on the pizza we got was brussels sprouts. The last one was a super rich pesto cheese pizza which lived up to its cheeseolicous expectations. While we were there the workers seem very preoccupied with some drama(dramatic dialogue, jokes, and running around, the manager apologized for the hectic vibes) which was a little frustrating considering many of the tables had crumbs on them and weren’t the most suitable to eat on. Still overall a good experience, with decently priced food and amazing tasting pizza, cool customizable options and a unique store, so I do recommend...
Read moreIt only took one pickup of pizza for the family to realize how "mythical" this place is! The atmosphere and theming of 80s culture and cryptids is a unique combination, and it really sells the idea of weird and unique pizzas. The website is also very professional and easy to naviagate. I'm impressed that, excluding certain ingredients or extra, all pizzas are only $13, and that's a bold statement so kudos on that. The 3 pizzas that I got (plain cheese, mothman, and bigfoot) were SO DELICOUS and flavorful! You guys pulled a Ratatouille with the food. I also got some craft sodas and they were great too. Customer service was standard and good. It is really convenient and time saving that you can order on the screen. I also appreciate the closing on Sundays, as that is a minor setback on profits in exchange for better quality for customers and spiritual restoration for employees. Waiting did take about 30 minutes, though it wasn't the place's fault; this place is extremely packed the moment it opens, so I mark that as a good thing. This was probably me being a klutz, but I did at first find the screen daunting to order on (I sat nearby and watched someone order to figure out I didn't press a crust option before going back in line, lol). Perhaps a few tweaks or a guide to help people order would be good. Another small nitpick most people wouldn't catch, but the sarsaparilla and ginger ale (assuming the other sodas might as well) had typos in the little description on the bottle. 9/10, I am definitely coming again! Thank you for an...
