Coffee Bean Cafe — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

The food is very good, but their pricing is a problem. They have obviously raised their prices and neglected to reflect the changes on the wall menu boards and the printed menus.

For those interested: I ordered a sandwich on croissant with chips and a medium fountain coke. Printed menu shows $9.99 + $1 for a croissant upgrade. Coke price not listed anywhere. But my total was over $17 somehow. I didn’t get a receipt but I wish I had. Then I went back for a blended coffee. The menu on the wall said $6.99 for a large, but my total was $8.25 - I looked at the receipt and the price of the large shows $7.50 plus tax. $0.51 more than the menu shows.

Coffee Bean Cafe is hands down one of the best smaller restaurants in the greater Baton Rouge Area. It's a perfect quick stop for morning breakfast or lunch. They serve all types of food and drinks that can please anyone that walks in door. I personally eat here at least once a week and the service and food is always great. Around 12 PM they get really busy and the parking lot gets full so try to become before or after lunch! I recommend getting any of the salads, wraps, or burgers. All three of those options are really good and can please anyone that walks in. I personally always either get the Avocado Burger or any of their main salads. Have you ever walked out of a restaurant with a big smile on your face and said to your self, "man that was good!!!"? Well this was one of those times that happened to me!!You order at the counter, take a number, and seat yourself. The restaurant was very clean, spacious, and had lots of seating. I ordered the GRILLED SALMON ALMOND SALAD and the cafe au lait. The salmon was seasoned just right (I believe a hint of lemon) and grilled perfectly where the fish was not dry at all.
