I am very angry and disappointed in the service received today. I usually do not write reviews but I am very unhappy. My son and I went to this restaurant to purchase crawfish. While I was purchasing crawfish my son picked up a cupcake to bring with us. My son is on special diet therefore he does not eat cupcakes. I instructed him to put the cupcakes back before I know it a lady was in front of us. My son jump because she scared him. My son has sensory issues so the cashier frighten him. When he jumped the cupcake fell on the ground. I picked it up and handed to the lady. I noticed at that point it was the cashier that rung up purchase of crawfish. The cashier said you will have to purchase the cupcake. She said because we can not put it back up on the shelve. The problem is she was the one that startled my son as he was putting it back. My question is why did she run to the door in the first place. Did you think he was trying to steal it. My back was turned to my son so I'm sure she saw him pick up the cupcake. The proper thing to do is to ask if we were going to add the cupcake to the order. I could have just put the cupcake back. I paid for cupcake but I called back to let cashier know the way she handled the situation was inappropriate. Cashier stated she was coming from the bathroom. Which was a lie cause she rung me up. I turned around and was walking out noticed my son had picked up a cupcake and there she was. Never admitted her mistake. Therefore, I'm writing a review from my experience. It was not a good feeling to be treated as if we were trying to steal something. My son is special needs and he didn't understand. He is in the learning stage. Read moreCame here last week and got a dozen of boiled blue crabs that were some of the best I’ve had. My husband went last night to get another dozen boiled. We opened them up and the crabmeat would just mush up in between your fingers there were so overcooked. Completely inedible. We picked through them to see if any of them were good, they weren’t, so we threw them away. My husband calls today (the next day) after working a 12 hour shift to see if anything can be done. He speaks to the manager who immediately asks him why he didn’t call earlier. My husband replied that he was working all day and had just gotten off. The manager asks “So you threw every single crab away?” To which my husband replied “Yes because we picked through all of them and they were all bad, there would be nothing to show” The manager then says that “We usually don’t do give away more crabs unless they get the old ones but we’ll go ahead and do it this time”. He was implying that my husband was lying and trying to get a free dozen crabs. We go out on the water almost every weekend, we own several big crab traps ourselves. There’s no need for him to lie about a dozen crabs being mushy. After that he told the manager “It’s nothing like that, I’m not lying to get something for free. Don’t worry about it, I just won’t come to y’all anymore” to which the manager replies “Alrightyyyy” and hangs up. Terrible leadership and customer service to a simple problem. Read moreRecently I ordered a one order and half of fried oysters. Since the order wasn’t prepared as instructed (soft), I was offered a replacement. When I ordered the replacement order I specifically, emphasize how the oysters shall be prepared. Guess what? Again, they were hard Due to dental work my food have to be soft or I can’t consume it. On this call, I asked for Randy twice but I could only speak to a female. She argued the cook said he cooked them soft. My daughter ordered her oysters soft when she went to pick up my call in order. The female insisted both orders were cooked soft at the same time 1st untruth- I ordered ahead of time, my daughter order after she got there. NO WAY they were prepared at the same time. I OFFERED TO SENT PICTURES OF MY ORDER OF HARD OYSTERS AND MY PICTURES OF MY DAUGHTER ‘s ORDER OF SOFT OYSTERS. She didn’t allow me to sent the evidence. I didn’t want any replacement free food I wanted my money back. I couldn’t eat the food. I don’t drive, so I couldn’t bring them back and travel the lengthy distance. My daughter had to go to work. It’s not right to constantly go back to get another wrong order.
My biggest complaint is they do not follow orders on preparing your food, then lie when it comes out wrong.
Randy I’m disappointed the way you handled this situation. You normally do right by your customers. Your cook 💯 lied and cooked my food improperly. IT’S ABOUT PRINCIPALS.
Only wrote this because the cook should have owned up to his mistakes and Randy you shouldn’t stand by this lie.
