Oh you know there was gonna be an update 7/30/25: There are some serious Diva Queen Barista's they recently hired...especially Brooke! No no..Brooke is actually amazingly pleasant and even dealt with me spelling my name out as A W E S O M E. It's so funny in fact that she says "Hey Mr. Awesome", it makes me feel good to come in and have a friendly face say hello. This place rocks with Emily at the manager, and it's one of the friendliest places. The coffee is always on point, and has been since day one of me coming in. Cheers!
Update 10/31/2024: You don't need a new CEO to give you free taco bell burritos with every cup of the ever popular (NEVER EVER) Olive oil coffee, or figure out how to use 200000 sharpies to revive your business (yes another corporate decision apparently,) ...you just need the friendly baristas at Starbucks Battleground that serve a great cup of coffee (what a concept, that this place has figured out - take note corporate!!) . Annika has sadly decided to pursue her college and career so no more of her bad attitude she used to give me. However the other trouble makers still work there. You'll like them as much as I do as there really isn't shit to do other than go to Starbucks and bother these people to no end like I do.
Update 5/25 : While the news regarding Starbucks earning report today wasn't the greatest...it still is no reflection of the amazing friendliness that this Starbucks utilizes as a hallmark to provide stellar quality on any of the drink orders they make. So CEO Laxman Narasimhan can be at ease, considering that YES I used my app, no didn't have to wait, an no I didn't jettison my order. I think is Starbucks is awesome, the manager is awesome, and Barista Annika and her co worker Amber are still on a path to world domination. This...
Read more*Updated: filed a complaint with corporate and they gave a $5 gift card which was nice. Figured I would use it to give this location a second chance in case last time was an "off day"...yet again, they refused to split our drinks. It is just this stores policy (not a Starbucks rule), and is absolutely greedy. It isn't hard to add a fee for an extra cup. The manager of this store does NOT represent the Starbucks company mission or customer promise.
Went to use a gift card my daughter won as a prize - asked to split a grande drink into two cups (since my toddler wanted some of the drink) but was reprimanded by an employee (possibly manager) stating "just so you know for next time, we don't split drinks into separate cups. You have to order separate drinks." We also ordered a venti drink so there should have been NO issue.
To my knowledge, Starbucks doesn't have a policy on this and I am appalled that an employee felt the need to inform me of a made up policy when it was supposed to be a celebratory trip.
There are nicer coffee shops in Battle Ground that don't hesitate to split your drinks, and are much cheaper! Next time will go out of my way to avoid...
Read moreOrdered a macadamia cold brew and was told that they were out of macadamia. Well that's fine I ordered the drink with vanilla instead. The cashier says "No problem ". The total was $7 and some change which is $2 more than the actual drink cost. I asked why and they explained that they were out of macadamia syrup. Yes but can't you make the same drink with different syrup? She then explained the extra costs that made it over $7 for the same drink. The manager got involved and offered me a refund. But she was belittling and condensending (almost like I was the psychopath for refusing to pay over $7 for a drink). This lead person did not once offer to make it right by making me a different drink or perhaps help the cashier ring it up correctly. I left without a drink! I have since gone to multiple Starbucks and ordered the same thing and was only charged $5.35. In conclusion, this store needs A LOT...
