Ichi 17 Teriyaki — Restaurant in Battle Ground

I love this place!! In fact, I chowed down on it last night. We come here quite often and I've never had a complaint about it! Last night's order consisted of noodles and teriyaki chicken. I love that the chicken has a bit of a char on the edges! Great flavor!! They are very generous with the portions! I always have leftovers for the next day. While I wait for my order (which is a quick wait) there's a steady stream of customers coming through. That tells me I'm not the only one loving Ichi 17. The sweet lady that takes our order is really kind hearted.. she always throws in extra teriyaki sauce... Without being asked to.. I encourage you to go get some teriyaki tonight!! At Ichi...

I've had worse, but I've also had better. Ichi Teriyaki 17 is a lackluster version of Ichi Teriyaki 23. The gyoza is typical as well as the teriyaki chicken, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The egg flower soup is an odd mix of mushy cabbage, potato, egg and carrots. Unlike Ichi 23, at Ichi 17 you don't get the open of macaroni salad or regular salad and you have to pay an extra $2.50 to switch to fried rice, which is free at Ichi 23. Speaking of their fried rice, it's a low class "fried rice" with a hint of egg here and there, and what seems to be a bag of mixed frozen veggies mixed in with it. Oct. 04, 2019 I went in for a late lunch. Ordered shrimp salad rolls, side of rice, and macaroni salad. Spent appx. 15 dollars. Called to express malcontent and was told they were not the same restaurant. (It was).

Shrimp on salad roll was undercooked and smelled very bad of rotting/rancid fish. Roll fell apart when trying to lift to eat. Lettuce brown. I am literally scared to get sick.

Mac salad was literally mayo and black pepper. Flavorless.

Rice was MUSHY. How can you mess up white rice?

Customer service was non-existent when I called. Said they were a different restaurant.
