The good: Friendly staff, food was good, restrooms were clean, coloring books for children, accommodation for food allergy. The bad: desperately outdated decor. Cold dim lit restaurant. Waited 30+ minutes to be seated. Luxury pricing for average food/experience. It’s a small restaurant. Seemed like lots of regulars were there, they were happily greeted and seated by name while our group waited. The staff were much more friendly and attentive to the regulars than they were with our group. We were told reservations were not accepted but had to wait 30+ minutes to be seated. The restaurant was chilly, we were seated in the back near a back door where cigarette smoke would linger in while we ate. The food was good but not exceptional by any means. The cheesey red potatoes were cold, everything else was the appropriate temperature. The filet that 2 in our group ordered at “medium” was pretty rare in the center, we both just ate it because we didn’t want to wait for new steaks. The fish had bones in it. The sautéed mushrooms which were an upcharge seemed dry and the cesar salad which was $2+ than the normal salad didn’t seem any more special. There were coloring books and crayons for the children but we weren’t offered them, the kids found them on a shelf themselves. They seemed to be staffed appropriately but our dinner service took about 2 hours from the time we walked until we left. It was pretty good, and with limited options in the area I can see why they’re always busy. It wouldn’t be my first choice next time though.

Before the review, I think it’s safe to say this is a towny joint. Didn’t really feel welcome on a Friday night as someone that doesn’t know the staff. Tried to call ahead for a reservation and was told they don’t take them. We showed up at 6:30 on a Friday with a group of 6. They could not accommodate right away and we decided to wait (about 35 minutes to seat, not bad). The restaurant is cute and clean, but very dated. Think of you friends moms kitchen from 1996. A bunch of cheesy wine pictures, fake grape vines, and other wine related tchotchkes. Bathroom was pretty clean too. Our server was very nice and pretty prompt. Prime rib (king 14oz $31) was delicious with the horse radish and au jus. Filet mignon (8oz $38) was also very good. We tried the rice stuffed mushrooms, but wasn’t that impressed as it was covered in cheese sauce that over powered their flavor. House salad was fresh and their ranch is very good. Recommend - Sure, worth a try. Will I return- Probably not. Upscale pricing, but lacks the upscale feel. The decor is just so ish.

Very nice place. Great place for a celebration like an anniversary or birthday dinner. They have wonder specials. It's nicely decorated and clean. Our waiter was very nice and knew the menu well. I believe there is only street parking so that can be limiting. Also I wish they didnt charge for soda refills.

Nice little restaurant, food was good , had the prime rib and I'm really picky about that .. to be fair I should if tried the ribeye cause it's rare I find a prime rib I like , we went here to try a new place which is why I opted to try the prime rib .. was ok .. but for me I'd go with the ribeye next time .. again not them , I'm just picky .. my fiance was happy with hers... the service was good the atmosphere also good .. its small and quaint... priced reasonably for the food ... would and most likely will be back to try that ribeye...
