UPDATE:: I did speak with a manager or the owner I’m not sure which he was. He was very apologetic and also offered a credit for me to come back in and try more food. Just for that I will give them one more star until I try the food again. I went to eat here because of the reviews online that it was an excellent restaurant. People saying it was a hidden gem in Bay City. I got my Petito dinner with chicken and went to Bigelow Park, which is maybe what 2 miles away by the time I got to Bigelow Park. The chicken wasn’t warm at all. There was so much juice in the container. It was disgusting. The tortillas weren’t even cooked. They were like rubber. They were so wet from the chicken and I couldn’t even eat them. They went in the trash and I spent $24 there. The guacamole is basically, an avocado smashed there’s no flavor. There’s no vegetables nothing in it. The chips weren’t salted. I can’t believe people are giving this five stars honestly, It was the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had . Taco Bell was better and that’s pretty sad! All I can figure is Bay City doesn’t know what real food is because that is not it!!!!!

Very nice small Mexican restaurant located in Bay City not far from the main travel corridors . We received a friendly welcome entering there small dining area. The service was good and our orders came to our table quickly ,and we're not only good, but the hotest ( temp wise ) I can remember getting delivered to the table. Our dinners were reasonably priced with ample portions. Not surprising We viewed them doing a lot of take out business , being a very good neighborhood restaurant . Being our first visit here , we asked some other patrons that were leaving about the restaurant. They claimed it was the best Mexican food available in Bay City Michigan , and we can't disagree !!!

Bay City’s finest hidden gem. Have yet to order something that’s not absolutely amazing from here. My favorite by far is the birria, whether it’s in taco or quesadilla style, they know how to cook it and make it so delicious. The quesabirria is HUGE and stuffed SO MUCH. Wish they’d cut it though because trying to eat it was a little difficult. Don’t let this scare you away, however, as we order take out and I’ve only ordered the quesabirria once so far, so it may actually come pre-cut and I just got unlucky with mine. Highly, highly recommend!

Let me start by saying that I don't like red enchilada sauce. Growing up, my gringo mom made a white sauce (mainly sour cream and monterey jack cheese), so I was disappointed whenever I ate a red sauce...until Los Pinostacos or Zacas Tacos, whichever name it's listed as in your device.

By golly, if I had tried their traditional enchiladas before, I would have thought the world of this style of enchilada. This isn't a can of enchilada sauce duped on some flimsy corn tortilla that lacks any semblance of flavor. It's flavorful (not hot in spice) and so, so good. When people say they have the best enchiladas ever, they meant it in their reviews. (I got the cheese enchiladas.)

Their quesadillas are great, queso is delicious, chips are yummy, and service is always top-notch. Busy, but they always answer their phones and are happy to take your order (unlike some other Mexican-inspired places who don't like money apparently). Their rice is pretty good, too!

If you have celiac, the chips aren't safe to eat, but my sister goes nuts over their queso and uses her own chips that are safe and is okay.

Definitely give this place a try (especially their enchiladas if you are into those) if you want a good, affordable, friendly Mexican spot in Bay City (which are impossible to...

Los Pinos Tacos is genuinely amazing in every way. Service was very attentive from moment we walked in. They moved tables to fit our party & immediately we got chips, salsa, & drinks. Our food order was taken pretty quickly & the food came out quick as well. I’ve tried the tangy shrimp soup, the crispy birria tacos, the massive half-order loaded nachos, the rice, the beans, & the steak burrito with the fries in it (can’t remember the name, but I recommend getting queso with it) before & I’d recommend all of it.

Los Pinos definitely surpasses any other Mexican restaurant in the tri-city area. Our party came in yesterday after leaving another restaurant in Saginaw that had a larger staff and only one other table when we arrived. Los Pinos had more open menus &, I’m pretty sure, a very small staff & managed to achieve everything I previously mentioned.

We’ve also gotten take out before & the person on the phone would go out of their way to clarify things that they thought we might not be aware of (& they were right), which we appreciate. The dining room is small, but DO NOT let...
