We went here two days in a row so I tried to chock it up to a bad day when we had bad service the first time but the second warranted my review. The first night I went up to the bar and was yelled at to "get behind the green line and the bartender will be with you" I'm sorry, but why is the bartender not here right now? No response. I decided to get drinks elsewhere (my room). We then ordered take out from the adjoining restaurant P&J's and my mother went down to get my son a water. She inadvertently forgot her mask and the bartender told her that "yeah, I can, if you were wearing a mask." Then threw a mask across to her. I would say it was in an unfriendly manner but that seems obvious since you can't really throw something at a customer in a friendly matter in a bar setting. The second night we went in for food and drinks and were told that he couldn't put food in unless we were dining in but us having come back from the pool my son didn't have shoes. I asked him if that would be an issue and he very contritely answered "uh, yeah it is." So we made the decision to order the take out from P&J southern take out, which we realize is the same business, but we decided we would not be ordering drinks from the bar because of the consistent unfriendly attitude from the bar. Anyway, P&J good (which a lot of the reviews on this site seem to be referring to)...
Read moreSo I came to visit a few of my friends in Orlando. We made a trip to Disney and then got a few drinks at Crockett’s Tavern Thursday night (10/10/19) . I’m a sociable and spontaneous individual looking to always make someone smile. It humored me that we landed at a place that had my last name on it. So I went up to order a drink and I told the man at the window jokingly “if my last name happens to be Crockett would I get that family discount?” (Definitely wasn’t being serious just trying to have conversation and make a joke) and the man at the window wasn’t open to have any convention and was very quick to cut me off while I was still ordering. He seems very rude and unhappy with his job with not only just me but my WHOLE group. I looked around to see if the bar was busy and there wasn’t more than 5 or 6 people at the bar. Plus he was working with 2 other bartenders. Not at all was I looking for special treatment but I am related to Davy Crockett and I was just interested to spark conversation. Other than that the drinks were good, just wish you guys had friendlier staff considering it’s on Disney grounds. -Kind regards,...
Read moreThey don't let you take food to go or eat in the upstairs area near trails end. My family ate from trails end and I planned to eat Crockett, but we all had to sit in the Crockett area for me to order off the menu even though it's all in one building. I was the only one eating Crockett, and everyone else were eating from trails end, so we sat in the trails end area. The server told me that I could sit at a table alone in Crockett to order my food, wait for it to be served, and they will give me a box for me to put it in myself. Then I can walk upstairs and eat it with my family. That advice just sounded ridiculous, so i just chose to eat trails end instead. I get that there are policies, but how hard is it really for the chef to put it right in the box and for me to come down when it's ready, rather than having an upset customer? I mean, the restaurant was practically...
