We ate here twice during our stay, the first time was dinner. It is family style all you care to eat. First, they brought biscuits with a goat cheese topping, cornbread, and hush puppies. The hush puppies were amazing. The biscuits didn't have a heavy goat cheese flavor, but you could definitely taste it. Then a delicious salad with a bacon vinaigrette. The BBQ main was good. Not the best BBQ, but good. Andouille sausage had a little spice, but not super spicy. There was also brisket (fatty parts, very moist) and a half a chicken. The chicken breast was a little dry and the skin a little soggy, but it was good with the sauce. A sweet sauce and a mustard sauce are served. The roasted potatoes were perfectly smooth and buttery and the green beans just a tad crisp with bright flavor. Drawer was a icecream sunday. The icecream was not high quality, the brownies were ok, and it was topped with chocolate covered bacon- it was novel, but I don't need it again. All in all an excellent meal. Breakfast started with house juice (a blend that I can't remember) that was very refreshing and not too concentrated or sugary. The coffee was very smooth, moderately brewed. My husband wanted it stronger, but I liked it. Specialty coffee can be purchased next door at P and J's. The blueberry muffins were ok, but not much in the way of blueberries. The multi grain croissant was my favorite! Yogurt and granola parfait with fresh fruit was good. Main course was Mickey waffles, bacon, cheesy hash browns (fabulous!) And scrambled eggs. The eggs have brisket in them. It was too fatty for me and I didnt feel like it added to the flavor. It felt like an attempt to be unique that just flopped. I would have preferred a few slices of brisket in the side. Cost was higher than dining outside of the resort, but the food was really high quality (except for the icecream) and for the convenience of being in the resort, I feel the cost was appropriate. Thanks, Disney for a...

My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Trail's End Restaurant for three consecutive nights, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere.

The highlight of our dining experience at Trail's End was undoubtedly the fried chicken. We couldn't resist ordering it every night, and it never failed to impress. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, with a tender and juicy interior. The flavors were simply mouthwatering, leaving us wanting more with each bite. We were thoroughly impressed by the chef's skill in preparing such a delicious dish.

Despite the restaurant being busy during the New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, the staff at Trail's End were friendly, attentive, and helpful. They ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Their warm and welcoming approach added to the overall positive ambiance of the restaurant.

Speaking of ambiance, Trail's End Restaurant is a beautiful establishment. The attention to detail in the decor and layout created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The combination of rustic elements and modern touches added to the overall charm of the space. It truly enhanced our dining experience and made us feel comfortable and relaxed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Trail's End Restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The delicious and crispy fried chicken alone is worth a visit, but the overall ambiance and exceptional service take it to another level. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a memorable meal with your loved ones, Trail's End is the place to go.

Kudos to the staff and management at Trail's End for creating such a wonderful dining experience. We are grateful for the memories we made at your restaurant and look forward to returning...

Ordered food for the family from cabin and ran to restaurant to pick up food. We get there and wait forever. We're not surprised, it's Disney, lots of people. So we happily just wait and then the name of the order, ten minutes after is was supposed to be done, is called. We jump up and walk outside. Ten steps outside we look down and go: "This is our name, but not our last name." We hurry inside and we see the real orderer and apologize for taking his food. He laughed it off, "Common name!" and he happily walks away. The manager Desiree asks about our situation and immediately goes: "Well someone took your food." We're shocked but not surprised. We explain that we heard our name and then rushed back when we saw how our last names didn't match, making sure not to open the parcel. She again goes on about how it was definitely taken and goes back into the kitchen. Then comes out with a bag of food, and wouldn't you know it, it has our first and last name. Desiree goes: "It's was marked as ready, but never taken out!" At least ten people had their names called out for their mobile order. We grab our food and Desiree goes: "That's why you have to check the number! Not the name!" We ordered from home. We heard our name and got up. "Well you still have to check the next time!!" Well someone should have brought out our order instead of leaving it on the counter to get cold while several other people got their food. As we walk out the door she goes: "Your welcome! Your welcome!" We walk back to our cart and laugh at us barely saying anything to her and at how she was telling us how to be better the next time despite our actual food arriving 20 minutes late past the time it was scheduled to be ready. Wouldn't recommend speaking to Desiree next time you're here, you can barely understand her and she jumps to conclusions so rapidly to put the blame on...

At Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023 Greeted by Friendly Staff Establishment Clean / Comfortable Interior Temperature Walk-up Reservations Available at this time Arrived / Checked In: 5:15pm Greeted & Seated: 5:18pm Placed Drink Order: 5:20pm Received Drinks: 5:24pm Placed Entrée Order: 5:29pm Received Entrée Order: 5:34pm Zoraida, our server, was friendly, helpful & knowledgeable about food being offered. She is top notch amazing. Way to go Disney. She's a keeper. This is our first visit to Trails End at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Meals for adults are $31.99 each. First served was a house salad with sweet hot bacon vinaigrette; the husband doesn't eat salads. It was a typical fresh house salad with cheese and croutons. If you have dietary concerns, they gladly accommodate. The food is served family-style. As in, they bring you a pan loaded down with a 1/2 smoked chicken, smoked & shredded pork, and 2 good size slices of brisket. It also came with green beans, 2 ears of corn, and boiled potatoes. Served with a side of SWEET cornbread with honey butter. It was just my husband and me tonight for an all-you-can-eat dinner and when we were almost through with that pan they brought us another (bigger than the first serving) . 2 was our limit though because you really need to save room for dessert, it's a part of the meal too. The shareable desserts were served in pint-sized glass canning jars and were: banana pudding, candy apple pudding, and a s'more type pudding. Sweet, but it was way too much dessert for us and we couldn't eat it all. Food arrived hot & delicious. Drinks kept filled. Very glad to have had the ability to eat at this restaurant. Thanks Trails End. We’re off to new dining adventures.

Head chef specially made a set of vegan dishes for me including smoked corn on the cob as an appetizer, then an incredibly tasty vegan soup, followed by a special layered dish that had rice, red cabbage shreds, spinach and other veggies and flavoring on the bottom, a thick slice of roasted red sweet onion on top of the rice, a thick slice of roasted tomato on top of the onion, a large roasted portobello mushroom on top of the roasted tomato, and a roasted red pepper on the very top. A variety of roasted sliced squash and specially fried tofu in its own special sauce was placed around the perimeter of the plate. The chef obviously takes great pride in the food that he serves and in accessibility to options for all who walk through his door. We had a server named Tyler who took great interest in our lives and in hearing about our experiences at Disney, and in making us feel welcome. The aesthetics were incredible, and the price was about $20 less each than other Disney dinner buffets that we love at Disney. Getting to the restaurant was a little difficult because I was wheeling my 80 year old mother in a wheelchair, and there was no parking space or lot close to the restaurant. We had to wheel my mother in her wheelchair onto a bus to get back and forth between the parking lot and the restaurant. In all, the buffet restaurant is now another favorite along with Boma and Ohana.
