Stopped in Pizzeria to get lunch. Immediately notice how over priced they are for some chicken wings. to add injury to insult, when I asked about the price of the wings I was given alot of fluff about how much the shop has to buy the wings for including the oil to fry it in and even went as far as telling me about paying the guys cooking the food. Realistically I don't care about the business overhead I care about what is important to me as a customer which is quality of food, prices and customer service. When I buy a car I'm never given the backstory on how much the fiberglass or plastics cost to make. 8.50 for some chicken wings is ridiculous for a neighborhood shop. Problem number 2, when I was given my food, I was not given any type of bag to hold my two trays. I understand that jersey has a ban on plastic bags but paper bags would have sufficed. Infact, I typically on multiple occasions ordered over the phone (The same item) in which the delivery person clearly provided me with paper bags upon delivery. I kinda got racist vibes from the whole interaction to be honest. From the price of chicken wings (What demographic is typical of ordering wings?) to being unable to get a paper bag to support ther order I placed, I will not be spending my money at this place anymore. First, it's quite humorous that they categorize themselves as an "Italian restaurant" because the food is Italian in name only, and it's far from a restaurant. Anyway, it was the end of the night and we were starving so we figured that we couldn't go wrong with the pizza . We proceeded to buy a pie and sit down to eat. There was someone else sitting down eating so we didnt think anything of it but once our pie was done we were told that they were closing and that we couldn't eat there. I explained that we had just paid for it and there was someone else eating but the guy immediately got an attitude, was very rude and told us that it didn't matter, the "system" wouldn't allow us to eat in there so we had to leave. No idea what that meant but instead of arguing, we just left. It was even more annoying because it was freezing and we ended up having to eat in the car. My order should have been $16.33 but when I picked up the order Mikes Pizzería charged me $28.26 which I paid cash . . They are part of the Uber Eats system and should know the terms. You pay Uber, Uber pays them, not double billing the customer. They told me they didn’t receive any payment from Uber and I have to contact Uber to straighten it out. I paid for the order, got home and realized Uber did take the payment. I went back and showed proof of payment of $16.33 and they still refused to give me back my $28.26, telling me I have to take that up with Uber that they don’t do the promo discount.
