Sabor of Mexico — Restaurant in Baytown

The food is great but I have a problem with the restrooms.

The food and desserts are amazing and everything on the dining area looks really clean. The service is fast and all the items are affordable. They have a huge selection of ice cream and aguas frescas.

My problem is with the restrooms. They have a sign that says not to throw toilet paper in the toilet. This might be because the toilet has a really weak flush but it doesn't excuse the practice of not flushing toilet paper down the toilet. The restroom had a bad smell to it because of all the soiled papers being stored in the trash can the whole time. To make matters worse, there is only one trash can in the restroom. This trash can has a swing top lid that only opens as you throw stuff inside it. The lid was filthy with what seemed to be feces. I have never gone #2 here but I felt disgusted having to throw away my paper towel down a lid that was obviously dirty.

This place would be perfect if they put some effort towards not having...

Excellent experience at Sabor of Mexico!

I was very excited to see that they had a vegan menu, great options! The food was delicious; the atmosphere is lovely, and excellent customer service. I had the opportunity to talk with both owners while waiting for my food, a very lovely couple. They were accommodating and shared that all their food is made from scratch and with love!

I had the -Pastor Torta -Chicken quesadilla -Passion Fruit drink **Would get this again!

COVID Notes -At the time, dining was available. -The order was effortless, quick, & accurate. -Excellent customer service, masks were required, staff wore masks and gloves. -Limited seating capacity. Plenty of comfortable space. -No issues at all.

I can't wait to go back!

I can't say enough good things about this place! Just went today with my brother and got a coffee, torta, two smoothies and a few snacks. Their coffee was great, with a cinnamon hint. The smoothies and fruit slushies can be made with dairy free milks and taste really fresh! I got the banana mango smoothie and felt energized. It was a nice treat with no artificial sugars! The torta was incredible as well, with different textures and ingredients that all go well together. I'm seriously impressed with the variety; it's a dessert shop, restaurant, and cafe with free wifi and cute aesthetics, that overlooks Baytown Town Square where several events take place. Perfect...
