The guy that was cooking the most amazing burgers left. It wasn’t the same deliciousness after he left. The Mont Belvieu location cooks better so we go there now, it’s closer too. The staff is amazing, some from this location working over there now. I haven’t eaten here in years, think 2007, just never remembered it being that great and remembered it being slow. I know a long time ago but I’m like that if something isn’t great. Yesterday, 8/2/23, ate here for lunch with my son when taking him to the college and it was AMAZINGLY delicious! The staff were friendly and efficient and our burgers and fries were out in record speed!!! We ordered the burger how it comes, the meat was tasty, the bun toasty and buttery, the toppings were proportionate perfection and the best part was that the tomatoes weren’t wet soupiness cut hours ahead of time (like Whataburgers) they were cut fresh so the burger didn’t ever get soggy - not even to the last bite. The homemade fries were a generous portion of fresh, super hot, and salty deliciousness. Both were so much better than Whataburger or any fast food. We did eat it there, outside, so didn’t travel with it which helped I’m sure. I wouldn’t drive away with one and expect the same fresh perfection. I honestly can’t wait to return.

Someburger is really just a Nothing Burger with fries, with an eye-catching name on a sign, with its old school designed restaurant front. And an employee inside that still flips the closed sign, over the sliding outdoor order window, around to say "OPEN," on the other side of the sign. I ordered a plain double some- burger with 2x grilled onions. Hand cut fries and onion rings. "Plain" doesn't mean dry beef taste, employees of Someburger. Instead of an extra order of caramelized grilled onions served up, I received about a full tablespoon topping of diced dry onions grilled. See photos for proof. So I added the onion rings to my burger and some Oh SNAP! Dilly Bites to help its wimpy appearance into a Wimpy sized burger. Popeye, cartoon style! I had to quarter it in order to consume it. The packets of ketchup, Oh Snap pickles I provided, and greasy onion rings helped the dryness of the overcooked burger. The hand cut fries were saturated in cooking oil and still were very dry tasting. The only good news here today is that they were able to salvage their og outdoor sign after Hurricane Beryl blew it down on July 8, 2024.

Wowza! You MUST get to Someburger and eat at least once in your life. First... I know of no other restaurant that has Tony Chachere's on every table.. the best condiment/seasoning ever. When you come here...use it! Second, their burgers are amazing. Not massive, but that's a good thing. They're perfect in every way. Never had a better tasting burger. Also, their grilled chicken sandwich on Texas toast...OMG! The beefy tomatoes made it shine. I know I'm raving about this restaurant, but it's just so good! Third, their hand cut fries are the best I've ever tasted (yes, along with the Someburger and the grilled chicken). They're so crispy, seemingly on the inside too. It's an experience you won't forget. Be sure to add that Tony Chachere's to it all. Finally, their chocolate shake tops it off perfectly. The staff are friendly and so helpful. It's a treat I'll be coming back for! Oh, and dine-in for 80's music videos playing regularly. 😉

Overly crowded and not worth the wait. Burgers were just ok. Nothing special about them whatsoever.

Issue #1: Asked the cashier if they had fresh jalepenos. She responded with yes we have jalepenos. I asked again pickled or fresh and she kept saying yes but not specifying which ones. So i said i want jalepenos on the side.

They were pickled and on my sandwich which pissed me off given the preliminary discussion at the register.

Issue #2: we witnessed one girl handling the orders touch her glasses, hair and face over and over like every 3-5 minutes with her gloves on then turn arounr and handle the food.

Issue #3: I asked for chili cheese fries cayse there picture on the screen looked yummy.

Just got chili fries. Looked at my ticket and i guess its extra cause just said chili.

Yet cashier failed to mention she was just gonna ring me up for chili fries. I don mind paying extra for what i wanted...didnt even get the opportunity todo that though. Wasnt told anything.

Issue #4 shakes and malts came out way before our food...and we were dine in. Just give them to me with my food. Why am i getting it before my food? I wouldn't mind ordering another orde but not when it's that busy. Good lord.

Have no plans...

I have been hearing from lots of people how great this place was so I wanted to go check it out. Me and my bff went there today and I wonder how long it's been since they were there lol. Because I will not go back nor would I recommend it to anyone. It says homemade hamburgers and French fries. Made at someone else's home maybe. Tasted like prepackaged hamburger patties. Looked like them as well. I didn't have fries but I also didn't see any being cooked that were fresh cut. Looked like bagged fries. My friend and I both had onion rings which came with 1/4 cup of grease. The visit was not great. My friend and I noticed that the inside of the patty was pink. Undercooked. Grosse. So they asked if something was wrong she said yes my patty is not fully cooked. They offered to make her another and she was not taking the chance said no thank you. They never offered her money back or even part. She ended up paying 9.00 for a bag of 6 greasy onion rings and a dr. Pepper. Definitely not worth the money. I will have to say that the people who work there are super nice and I felt the place was clean. The prices are overpriced, I could get this same meal at any chincy little cafe for a lot less. ...
