My favorite is the tuna sandwich. I don't like much bread; the flatbread is what I always choose. The tuna is plain and simple, just like my Mom made it: tuna and mayo. The jalapenos they have are hot so I get only a few. I love tomatoes. I ask for extra; they pile them on. I know every time I ask for my favorite sandwich it's going to be almost the same as the previous times. Some servers put varying amounts of veggies on, but they usually listen to my preferences so it's all good. There is one woman I see almost every time, she must be the manager (I can't recall her name at the moment). She's always friendly, speaks to the customers. Another woman is frequently there; she has extremely long fingernails. I'm glad she wears gloves when preparing/handling my food. The other employees are there a time or two then are gone. Perhaps this is a training site. Once the women and men are educated about Subway, they're transferred to a different locale. Or the employee turn-over for this store is high except for the two previously mentioned women. The only drawbacks are the lack of napkins provided for to-go orders (only 2 for a foot-long sandwich?!); and the price for chips (a tiny bag costs just shy of $1.20! I buy a big bag of Walmart chips for $1.12 - hence I never buy a Subway bag of chips.) I enjoy the food Subway sells, it's different than a hamburger place. Typically, I'm the only customer in the mornings, so I'm in and out in a few minutes. When there are customers ahead of me, it can take a while to get my order. Luckily, that's a seldom occurrence. That's also a drawback: one server behind the counter. The location on Alexander Drive is a couple minutes from my house. Another reason I visit the restaurant. As long as it's there and I keep receiving gift cards from my sister-in-law, I'll keep...
Read moreI visited Subway on Alexander in Baytown Texas and I come across this lady that's been there for a while. She's Hispanic and we end up getting into it. She started cursing and so did I. It was not a nice visit so I ended up leaving that lady is very stingy to make you a sandwich and I've never had an experience like that in any other subway she's nothing but a hate but great. My friend said that when I left she was telling everybody in the store that she didn't know why I was acting like that. She knows and she knows very well...
Read moreBeen to this location couple of times and never had any issues but today was the worst one! Usually never do bad reviews but this time is out of control. How are you going to charge $12.79 for a sandwich that was plain and didn’t even ask what veggies I wanted in it. Mind you this sandwich came with avocado and none on the bread. Definitely will be the last time I go to this or any other...
