The place is small and old, but it was recommended by a friend. It was busy! The food was good overall; the quesadilla was a bit bland, but I didn’t mind too much after adding some of the green sauce, which made it tasty. They should serve it with guacamole and sour cream, or at least give an option to add on. The table chips were delicious. However, the restroom is in very poor condition and needs a significant remodel. The tiles are coming apart, and it looks like there is water pooling somewhere. The sink and faucet need to be replaced, and even the lock requires attention. The atmosphere, loud, the dining area was cramped and it was very warm, not hot yet but getting there. Service was good, waitresses were attentive and pleasant. Menu prices were reasonably, affordable for a family to dine in. We will return!

I am from out of town, here to visit family. Haven't lived here in years. Ate all I could, and still had this and some beans left over. I ate breakfast and dinner here today. Wonderful. The flour tortillas are homemade. The food is excellent. Salsa here is a little too hot for me, but good and service both were five star. Also...just can't beat the price.

I know people are making it difficult to wear a mask during this pandemic, but a hairnet too?! This is my husband’s taco after biting and fishing out several long hairs. This has completely ruined our stomach towards this restaurant as we ate here weekly. Now he’s like who knows what’s dropped into our food over the last year.

If I could, I'd give the service and the atmosphere negative Stars the food is barely a two star. I've been going to this place for many years off and on, and at one point, it was one of my favorite places to go. For this reason, I've let a lot of stuff slide over the years because many years back, the food was five stars easily. I very much used to enjoy their breakfast plate with the flour tortillas and green sauce. Now you get their breakfast plates, and it smells of Grease, and it has no flavor. I've never really cared too much for the Extremely Loud Music in the dining room, almost to the point where you couldn't carry on a conversation. Also, there's this one waitress there that has never been very friendly. I went to the drive-thru this morning, and she took my order. Then she came back and just sat there and stared at me, and I said, "What do I owe you, and she just stared at me. She acts like she doesn't know English, but I know she knows English because I've seen her speak it. So I'm wondering if it is she's doesn't like her job or maybe she has some mental deficiencies or something. As of today I'm officially done with this place there's too many other little taco joints in this town that I can go through my money at where I'll get way better service and way...

I've been going to this place at least a few times a month for the past four years; they always had good service, good food and decent prices. However, the past few times I have been was less then desirable. Once I went through the drive thru and ordered food, she gave me the total price but then when I pulled up to the window the price all of a sudden was a lot higher, when I questioned her about it she pretended not to know English very well🤔 Told myself I wouldn't be returning there anymore.. I did however go a few more times. My boyfriend and I ate there yesterday and the waitresses weren't very friendly to us plus the bill was a bit higher then what it should of been. I did not receive an itemized bill just the total, I didn't question her, I just paid it. The import beer prices went up, they are $4.99 now, which is extremely high. I can understand if it was in the Kemah Boardwalk area but not at a small taqueria. I will not be returning here anymore. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in the...

Man this place truly is a piece of work. The drive thru menu is outdated and the costs are double the listed price. torta listed $2.50 charged $5.99. They don't tell you this unless you ask and then they show you the VALID menu and expect you to agree. I asked 3 times for my quesadilla to be toastada, got her verbal confirmation it was tostada. Of course it's not so I go in and proceed to tell her it's not correct and in Spanish she had the nerve with a smile on her face to tell the other waitress that I was mad because the price of the torta was different then was listed when I came in because the quesadilla I asked 3x to be toasted, was not! even though I mentioned it wasn't last time I asked. I just asked for my money back and she didn't even give me a full refund. $15.64 for a torta and beef quesadilla and I was only given $8 when she said they were $8.99. I actually liked this place a lot and now they are just another business poorly run business I want to avoid. 2 stars because the salsa...
