Extremely disappointed. I was told by the staff there were a lot of vegetarian and vegan options, and ordered a veggie gyro and told it was vegetarian, it tasted like meat. I asked if the vegetables were cooked with the meat and was told yes, they share a grill, I said it wasn't vegetarian then, the staff said "it's not strickly vegetarian or vegan" Uh NO, that is not how that works, if it's cooked with meat it's not vegetarian nor vegan, period, and was told " well people are so greatful to have the options they don't mind" No, you lie to people and I assure you if they are vegetarian or vegan they would be mad to be lied to. It's very wrong to be dishonest to make a profit. The gentleman also informed me with some attitude "well we can't fit another grill back here" yeah, really not an acceptable answer or my problem, I am the customer not your employee! Please stop lying to customers and educate yourself, you don't know if it's preference, medical or religious reasons and you could really make someone sick and not just disgusted.

Update: Cute reply, I appreciate you completely ignoring and attempting to invalidate my review and concerns. Nice try. My dietary needs were not in question just your inept staff, do better, ignorance isn't a valid excuse you could make someone...
Read moreI am a huge fan of Mim's. I travel 45 minutes one-way to get their vittles a few times a year. I have sent countless people to them as a bonfide "local/hidden gem." But the past 2 visits I have been plagued by payment issues and this most recent visit had an order issue as well. It is 100% my fault for not having checked the order before I drove off. I know better. Even the best restaurants make mistakes. But I didnt. I got home to find a much anticipated item, the stuffed grape leaves, missing. $4. No big deal, right? Just call, explain and get it refunded, right? Sadly, no. Woman answers phone. Explain situation. Told her how far I drove. Cant come back. Refund for missing item? In the most irritated, pissy voice she informs me she would have to refund the whole order and re-charge us for just what we got. Well, I felt bad immediately for having even suggested the idea of a refund for food I didnt recieve. Told me they could credit me the item for my next visit. Ok. Fine. Should also note that I tipped them $4 for bringing it out to me. On a previous visit, they gave us major grief for an order paid for over the phone for under $50 when, at the time, IT WAS NOT POSTED ANYWHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE. Im just....dissapointed. I've always had such good experiences here and excellent service. Now I get a really irritated person who expresses how absolutely PUT OUT and TROUBLESOME it would be to just give me my money back for an item not recieved because obviously the debit/credit card system they are using is cantankerous or outdated or charging them ridiculous...
Read moreI made the mistake of taking in a beverage that I had bought an hour and a half prior to the going to restaurant when my sister and I decided to stop for lunch. After we walked up near the front counter the owner, Brett, immediately starting speaking out to me that I was not supposed to bring another beverage in to “his restaurant.” He was speaking loudly and made a point to call me out about an innocent mistake in front of all the other patrons. I was quite surprised by his behavior. He went on to say that he had signs on the doors saying no other food or drink allowed. When I responded that I did not see a sign and I 100% absolutely did not, his response was “of course you didn’t.” My sister had wanted to eat there and we were already in the restaurant and she had started ordering so I stayed. I took my apparently offensive drink back to my car and spent the $1.50 purchasing a beverage from Brett’s restaurant to make him happy. I guess that $1.50 was so important that he needed to behave the way he did. It was a good lesson for me. I will certainly never make the mistake of stepping in...
