Country Cookin' Cafe — Restaurant in Beatrice

Was in town for the races. We all wanted to go to a home style restaurant have good home quality food. We heard a few locals say this place had great food. We arrived the place was quiet busy, we sat ourselves 9:30am Young Server took our drinks. Mistaken my orange juice for a water. No big deal. Different waitress came got our orders. As we were waiting we saw 3 groups of people walk out complains of the over hour wait. A different waitress came to deliver food to another table. Food was for wrong table. She yelled across the room to our waitress who came over stated she got tables mixed up started yelling out “who got (kind of food)...” she goes oh it goes to this guy. The guy talking and not listening.” In my eyes that’s very rude. I understood mistake happen busy place, but snobby attitude to customers is terrible. An hour went by and we had still been waiting on food. 1 other group walked out. We waited another half hour for food and choose to leave. The tenderloin sandwich awesome. First experience here and I gotta say I've manifested a particular pallet over the years growing up in a comfort food household - Also through the restaurant experience since which I've worked at more than a few which lasted for 15 years combining all the places I've worked. 10 of those years on the plaza in Kansas city, MO. Anyway first impressions or first experience in this case - this place should be busy all the time. I thought the meal I had was worth 15 to 20$ but it was "5 bucks." For how good that was I was shocked. Hope they stick around through this hard time and on that note.. "i" hope they advertise themselves more because they have plenty of room for a good lunch rush and to top it off : a short menu....

We seated ourselves as the sign instructed us to do and we were promptly given menus and asked for our drink order. After about 20 minutes of waiting, drinking our beverages and watching 2 different couples come in and get drinks and order food, finally a waitress noticed that we still had menus and came to take our order. I was in the midst of deciding to leave. But my girls and I were hungry, so we stayed. The food was ok and overall the service was ok. There was one young lady though, the waitress who did EVERYTHING for us except take our food order...she was spectacular. I don't know her name, but she did amazing. Thank you for...
