Death Valley Coffee Time — Restaurant in Beatty

We were staying in Death Valley where we could not find iced americanos so we got up early and make the 40 minute or so drive into Beatty for morning iced americanos. When we arrived we thought we were at the wrong place but quickly realized that Coffee Time was located inside of a large truck stop style store offering eats, treats, souvenirs and goods. We instantly thought we were going to be disappointed but we were wrong! The man and woman working were so friendly, so kind, so welcoming and just a joy to engage with. Our iced americanos were excellent as were our omelettes. We are sad we only got to visit once. We took extra shots of espresso to go for our late evening fix. I go here a lot, but I find it annoying that I can only order when certain people are on shift! I ordered a 16oz Mocha and a 20oz Blended White Chocolate Caramel drink this afternoon... My WHITE Chocolate blended drink had 5×more CHOCOLATE sauce in it then the Mocha hot beverage did... I didn't bother sipping the blended drink before leaving the location, or I would have asked that they make it properly, one of the owners and a lady I usually don't see were there... So I thought it would be done right, with my order being the only one needing to be made. I guess I will just stop ordering coffee from here, since I can never trust the service or product to...

I dunno who writes all those good reviews cause food was really bad. I got an omelet and even though I saw how they cooked and that they used fresh veggies for it - it came out horrible, with flavor of old oil that probably is never changed. It had a toast on a side with margarine already spread over it. Plus it took them some insane amount of time to prepare such a basic thing (wait time over 40 minutes). Cappuccino was ok but latte was just a big cup of hot milk with faint smell of coffee. Absolutely disappointed and definitely not a good option if you need a good feeling breakfast before hiking day at...
