Every time I've eaten from here it's pathetic. Food is either over cooked or poorly kept. With the restrictions from COVID-19, not much is open, but apparently this location hasn't changed.
You would think that with less inside traffic and cleaning the employees would be able to focus more on drive-thru and mobile orders but no.
Using the mobile app, I got a big Mac meal with chicken nuggets as extra. Easy ordering and waiting in my spot. Time from order to delivery was quick, and that's the only enjoyable part of this experience, because it wasn't even my food.
I called the store 3 times and let it ring until the it cut off. No answer. So I went to the door and it's locked, but fortunately a young man answered and said "what's up bro?". He got one of the other workers, a woman who just pushed the door open and said "what's the matter?". I could barely name everything from my order before she walked away.
After roughly 10 mins a different woman brought me my food. And there it was, a sandwich just slopped together it could have been a salad, and 4 sauces that weren't even what I asked for.
Efficiency, diligence, politeness, all tossed out the window.

So I did and to ensure my order was correct she put her hands in my food .(like when you open your burger to make sure it was made correctly)without gloves and made sure to do it right at drive thru window!! Ok so I complained to new bern office and months later I go back on Halloween night . of course my order is messed up and fries are cold lettuce is brown .. I waited in line at least 30 mins!! Read moreSave yourself time and just go to the one in Morehead City if you really need a McDonald's fix. The morning/breakfast crew is good; however, the dinner/evening crew is horrible. Even when they aren't busy you can expect to wait at least 15 minutes and up to 30 minutes in the lobby. On one occasion myself and other customers waited almost a half hour for our food. We would have likely waited longer but the manager on duty came out and got things moving again. Staff are often unprofessional on the front line having conversations with friends, inappropriate topics, etc. Even in drive thru I've had to wait 20 minutes. And when you do finally get your order you can expect it to be wrong about half of the time.
Like I said initially, just go to the one in Morehead City. Or, at the very least, go to this one if you're starting your own business so you know how one shouldn't be run. I feel bad for the owner of this franchise location as I doubt they know how lazy and unprofessional their...
