Subway — Restaurant in Beaufort

I came in here the other day and was a little perplexed at the service. I ordered online and waited in line for several minutes. During that time, several more people came in after me. I was next in line, but when the woman found out I ordered online, she made me go sit down so she could serve everyone who got there after I did. She did the same thing to someone else—made them get out of line when it would’ve been their turn to order anyway and sit and wait on everyone else, just because they ordered online.

The person I was with had already gotten their food, so we literally sat there for 10-15 minutes while their food got cold, watching at least 10 people who, again, got there after we did get served first. It didn’t make any sense. It’s not like we were skipping the line—it was literally our turn to order. And then they turned around and made my sandwich wrong. 🙃

Next time I’ll just pretend I didn’t order online, ask for what I want, then conveniently remember that I already paid once I get to the...

This subway has always been so so - sometimes great and sometimes not. A couple of nights ago we went in to buy 3 foot longs for takeout. Everything was going well until another worker, by the name of Mels, appeared from the back and proceeded to “play” with the sandwich wrapping paper, touching it and turning it upside down and flipping it around for no apparent reason after which she picked up the first of our sandwiches -ALL with bare hands and no mask. I said something about it and it appeared she ignored me the first time I spoke. Louder, I asked, “Aren't you going to put some gloves on before touching our food?” Her attitude immediately changed and she gloved...

I'm sorry for a negative review, because I do realize people are short staffed! But, I was so shocked by the actions of one of the workers; "Mels" ...She was upset when she came from the back, she slammed the lettuce in containers and then into the bag - Said they had served over 100 subs today....my sister heard her cuss. Well, I said, honey, take a deep breath, and wanted to say, PUT ON A HAPPY FACE, FAKE IT, but no point in being RUDE!!" I'm sure workers are stressed to the hilt, but EMBARRASSING your patron because I asked if toppings could be put on the side, is uncalled for. Cheer up Mels, hopefully you'll have a...
