Casa Palacios — Restaurant in Beaumont

Decided to give this place a try and was not to satisfied. Went it and the place is decorated very nice with Mexican pictures the waitress was very nice and helpful. She brought us chips and salsa which were good. The menu was big it had many different Mexican dishes so I decided to go for tacos de buche aka pork stomach tacos and a michelada. She comes back and say they were out of buches so I went with an all meat carne asada wet burrito and my wife went for a combination carne wet burrito. We received the burritos and saw that my wife's combination burrito was bigger than all meat carne asada burrito. I told the waitress why is her burrito bigger and she said it was because I got the all meat burrito so its smaller. I'm thinking to myself I paid extra to get an all meat burrito and it's smaller than the combination burrito which don't make any sense because im paying extra but I didnt argue with the waitress and ate the burrito. The burrito was okay but the meat was way too salty, and my wife who is a person that likes salty thought it was way too salty for her. Well at least I had my michelada which was okay. I just felt for a michelada it needed some more of that clamato mix. My wife had an horchata thinking it was going to be fresh homemade horchata but It was the same horchata you get from El Pollo Loco. The waitress which was nice came back and said how was everything and we told her the burrito was salty. She went out back and came back and said that the chef tasted the carne asada and it was salty so they were going to take the drinks of the bill. Something is something I guess. Overall I probably won't come back to this place again. I wouldnt say it's nasty and don't come because the service was good and it looks like they have very good happy hour deals, but the Mexican food was not up to...

Been here before and good was great, but today was the worst the beans on all plates were Burnt the chile relleno was hard. The en hilada plate only had 1 enchilada. The Campechana only has shrimp and fish the did not even have any tostadas nor crackers. The carnitas were ok but the plates were not served with what was on the menu we had to keep telling the waitress what was missing. There were only 2 table and they took forever to serve us. There were 5 of us and all received our good at different time some were done eating before others received there food. The only positive was the waitress were nice and just keep apologizing for everything that they did not have and said the owner was not there and they were out of things. But this was. It told to us when we Arrived but till we started receiving the food. The waitress also confirmed it was new management I can tell by the taste...

70 reviews 4 out 5 !!! jajaja don't make me laugh !!! me and my family went there food not really good and over over price for what you get I ordered a beef fajitas and it had more vegetables than beef only llike a few strips so I told the server then the server called the suppose manager a "fat chick" who turned to be the cook and cashier and instead of making it better SHE WAS VERY RUDE VERY SARCASTIC VERY UNPROFESSIONAL I told her other places to get more for your money and her response was even worse SHE IS VERY VERY UNEDUCATED I DRIVE BY EVERY DAY ON MY WAY TO WORK AND THAT PLACE IS ALWAYS EMPTY
